Lost River: My Mate is Stuck

My mate appears to be permanently stuck in the ditch by the city in Lost River. I have had mates stuck there before; however, I can usually go around and inside of the ditch myself to guide them out. This time, my mate was stuck in the orange-brown area of the ditch that looks like a turbine: a place that he is not supposed to be able to access in the first place. I have saved and reloaded several times, but to no avail. He is still running around inside there, trying to get to me as any loyal mate would, but is stopped. Is there anything I can do about it, or....?

My mate also got stuck- on the hilltop, I think, and no matter what I did, he couldn't get down. This seems to be an issue that shows up often, as I've seen others mention it.

Try reinstalling the game. If the problem is not resolved through a reinstall, please follow Neamara's instructions below.

If reinstalling doesn't work and your mate remains trapped beneath the map with saved coordinates and you don't have a backup save prior to this happening, you could send the affected save file to the developer via e-mail: info@wolfquest.org.

Thank you both. I'll try doing this. And deleting and reinstalling won't clear my progress, right? I forgot to clarify that I'm on mobile.

Email the saved game file to info@wolfquest.org -- I can fix it, that's the only way.

I apologize for all the questions within this question; could you please instruct me on how to do this? I do not have the game on PC, only on mobile, so it's not quite so straightforward to me.

Unfortunately, you can't easily access those files on mobile. But you can send me an email (info@wolfquest.org) with your username and password, so I can log into your account, fix the problem, and sync up the files again.
