Re: Screenshot from WOLF game
Wolf is what helped me to find Wolfquest.
Its also sad to see some people not respecting these older games, back when they came out they were probably top of the line and highly advanced. look at the game Final Fantasy 7 for example. when it came out it was literally using the newest graphics technology and by now its considered backwater and lame graphics wise.
DOSbox is something I'd reconmend to people interested in getting Wolf. its easy to use and simple as well. Wolf though, is not a good game if you have plans on mating and having puppies, since its honestly near impossible to breed in it. I hope Wolfquest is not that hard. I have a game in Wolf thats gone through three years and I still havent bred my wolves succesfully. its a possible glitch with the game and honestly, its only downfall in my opinion.
Lion has many many problems as a game. compared to Wolf, which is a floppy game, Lion is one of the first cd games, and is a CD rip. CD rips are bad quality and it results in really slow loading times and in general bad gameplay due to lack of sound and movies in many of them. so to be honest with you guys, I wouldnt reconmend downloading Lion at all unless you have a lot of patience. You'd have much better luck with Wolf in the long run.

Re: Screenshot from WOLF game
On my old computer I didn't need a Dos emulator to play Wolf but on my new one I do... But I think I couldn't get Lion to work even with the emulator
and yeah, on Wolf my pups always die, it's almost impossible to find enough food for both yourself and your pups, because you run out of food that's close to the den so you have to travel really far away... plus I think there is a glitch where pups randomly disappear for no reason

Re: Screenshot from WOLF game
I've only found some download that requires a floppy drive or some junk, no roms for any emulators.
Re: Screenshot from WOLF game
Interesting... I'm going to try and download it. It's still good enough to fill the gap in my life that's supposed to be WolfQuest.

Re: Screenshot from WOLF game
you can google 'DOSbox' to get the one I have, many sites have it since its easy and well known. its actually very easy to setup. If anyone needs help, you guys can feel free to send me a message on aim if I'm on. just be sure to mention you're from here, it'd be appreciated if you do. I can provide a couple screenies of what to type and such to give ideas and all too if needed, espically when it comes to where to put the files so DOSbox can find them easily.
also, I got my copy of Wolf from here:
http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?gameid=1276
hopefully we're able to help those that need help getting this game. for a old DOS game, to be honest, its incredible both gameplay wise and graphics.
Also, a question for those that have the game, whats your favorite area to play in? artic, plains, or timber? and along that lines, whats your favorite prey in the game?

Re: Screenshot from WOLF game
My parents wouldn't let me finish installing it after they read something like, "If any copyright is found you may have to pay a heavy fine or spend time in" (the place I wont name) "for plagerising this game." I wanted to get it too.
