Portal is such a fun game, that I have played it with old friends on XBOX and then migrated to play it on PC on my steam a few weeks ago. It wasn't on sale but I've missed playing it. Since I rarely play my console games, just happen to see it and bought it from there. :D

Much yes on this game. I've played through Portal 1 and Portal 2 multiple times, Portal 1 has become a quick game for me because of muscle memory ;n;

Both games were excellent, though I thought both games' bosses were very anti-climactic. They were much too easy to figure out and too easy to defeat.

These games were honestly some of my favorite that I've played!
I personally like a good challenge and love puzzles so these games were right up my ally.
I loved the atmosphere of the game, it made you feel very lonesome and even creeped out at times.
I think the best thing I enjoyed about it was the whole backstory that was gently interwoven into the gameplay. It didn't reveal a whole lot right away, you had to sort of figure it out as you played.
I thoroughly enjoyed that game!

I've never played them before, but during the Steam Sale my bb bought Portal 2 for me. I'm excited to play it. <3
Thank you love! :'D

I want to play it though when she's able to join me in a multiplayer game so I will wait with playing it for a bit.

I think you'll like multiplayer! It's very fun!
You and the other player get to play as a couple of cute robots that go through and solve puzzles together. Two heads are better than one when it comes to solving the puzzles in my opinion.
I hope you enjoy it!

Haha yes I did yesterday together with my girlfriend! It was very fun!
I came to realize I am terrible at solving puzzles in games, and she did all the thinking while I did what she told me to do, and we actually got further in the game than her cousin had ever gotten, he told her while we were Skyping. xD

I gave her the name Sherlock Holmes, and named myself Watson during the gameplay and recordings. ;D

Sorry for the really late response... ^^"
Your very welcome though bb and I'm glad you like playing it. Had a lot of fun playing it again earlier today and can't wait till tomorrow so hopefully we can clear through some more of it. Well as long as the game doesn't crash or act up again to the point where we have to redo stuff again. XD

Well, it wasn't the game crashing but my recordings. xD
But yeah, it was fun. Maybe we can record some more today if we both find the time~

...Oops... thanks, Neam, though XD

Portal is so much fun, and Portal 2 is my favorite. The end was a total epic cliffhanger. WHERE PORTAL 3?? ;-;

Reading mostly everyone else's posts, is Portal multiplayer??

Portal 2 has a bunch of co-op puzzles! You can either play online, or locally. I played with my brother a week or two ago when he was here and I think we'll finish over online play sometime; it's one of the few games on Steam that supports local multiplayer as well as online multiplayer which I greatly appreciate.

Seems like Valve (the people who make the Portal and Half-life games) can't count to 3 as NEITHER of those successful series have a 3rd entry. :roll:

Ahh, I found this topic again!
I tested out multiplayer. For, like... three minutes XD I clicked the Co-op thing and then I'm watching with utter confusion as P-Body is being assembled, or something. Then the player I was with asked, "Is this your first time?"
I was kind of creeped out that that was the first thing they asked, because the answer was a hard yes XD
So then GLaDOS had Atlas, the other player, pick a favorite animal. They picked horse. Then GLaDOS had me pick an element. I picked gold, because why not
I was also really disappointed because I thought I'd be Chell, like old times, not a strangely-shaped robot that likes to annoy GLaDOS with my dancing in front of cameras (that was funny, but I left shortly anyway)
I also got a couple of achievements from joining it, so yay :P
