Club Penguin... Never played it, never want to. Animal Jam totally beats it.

Night is now falling, so ends this day.
The road is now calling, and I must away.
Over hill and under tree, through lands where never light has shone.
By silver streams that run down to the sea.

I've been playing Club Penguin Rewritten lately for memory's sake. It's nice that everyone is automatically a member, so you don't have to spend money every month just to actually enjoy the game.
Let me explain
This ugliness, this cruelty, this repulsiveness
It will all die out
And now, I cry for all that is beautiful

Whoa. I'd actually like to check that out, if only to see what the community is like and treat myself to some of the member content I never accessed as a kid. The website seems to be a bit unreliable for me, though... I hope it sticks around if it's indeed a way for people to still enjoy the game.

smh rip off from toontown rewritten

If it's any idea, I've found that the communities of these "kid" MMOs are toxic and elitist.

I think club penguin was my intro to roleplaying LOOOL
There were certain servers where tons of people would congregate in the forest area of the map and pretend to be wolves. I started my own "pack" and everything, it was popping. I'd also roleplay as a hotel owner and turn my house into a little hotel, then invite people inside.
Once I cried because my RP best friend told me she was converting to the "dark side". Then she came back like 10 minutes later. She was my first internet friend hahahah

Oml I remember this game, I used to be addicted to it. My only issue with it is the fact that without a membership, you really can't do much.

Edit: Wait what? I was gonna check out CP for nostalgia but now I really am curious lol:

I agree with you there. I've only played Animal Jam and they can be quite elitist sometimes...
