This is about my wolf, Autumn, and how she survives in the brand-new Lost River DLC. She will explore, find a mate, and attempt to start a pack. The log will take her through learning to hunt solo in Fall, through to Summer, when her pups are 20 pounds. Plans for what comes after this are undecided. This first log will likely be longer than all future ones, due to the fact that it is a combination of several days of gameplay. Also, I had this entirely typed out, but I wanted to save the draft before I posted it, and when I tried to do that, the server logged me out and deleted EVERYTHING, so I have to type it all over again  :x

Years after the sudden evacuation of Lost River, scientists are curious to see how the wildlife population is surviving and thriving, wolves in particular. An isolated group of scientists travel back to Lost River, installing small live cameras into the abandoned town and the vast wilderness surrounding it. With permission from the rancher who refused to leave, they also place cameras in the isolated valley surrounding the cattle ranch. Then, they choose a two-year-old female dispersal named Autumn to focus on.
Autumn was first sighted in Amethyst Mountain in the Winter with another female one year older than her. The origins of the two are unknown, but it is unlikely they are related, based on their close bond and similar appearance. Autumn had a coat similar to the one of 992M "Twin" although Autumn's coat had a reddish tint. The older female, called Amethyst, had a reddish-brown coat, scars along her face, a bent tail, and a missing eye.
The two females hunted and survived together until late Fall, when Autumn dispersed and traveled alone for months. She finally stopped her vast wanders when she reached Lost River in early Fall the next year. Since she was already in the tracking system, she was the perfect wolf for the scientists to focus on. They wanted to see how a lone wolf would survive in the abandoned village, and if she would be able to form a successful pack.

Fall:
- After first settling into Lost River, Autumn immediately began to explore. The first place she went was to Lil' Yellowstone, where she fell into a hot spring and struggled to get out for several minutes. After recovering from the shock of her burns, she explored the geyser and other springs, before falling asleep near the geyser.
- After waking up, Autumn traveled West into the forest, exploring for a day or two until she finally found an elk herd. She easily killed an elk calf, and feasted on it. Surprisingly, she returned to the herd immediately after, and killed a second elk.
- After hunting, Autumn began howling, and moved towards the howls of other dispersal wolves. She finally found a pair of dispersal males from the Tumbleweed Pack. After a short time of courting them, Autumn turned her back on them, walked a short distance away, and feel asleep.
- Autumn woke to the sound of battling wolves. A pair of dispersals from the Desolation Pack were fighting a pair of dispersals from the Calamity Pack. A few moments later, the Desolation dispersals fled in different directions, the Calamity males chasing after them. The Calamity dispersals spent a long time howling their victory before returning to Autumn. While they howled, one of the Desolation males tried to return, but quickly ran away again.
- Autumn spent some time courting with the Calamity wolves, but then left in the direction of the Desolation wolves. She found the two of them regrouped farther away and up the ridge. She convinced them to engage in courtship with her, though Autumn seemed skeptical and hesitant.
- Of the two Desolation dispersals, they were both three years old. One had a black coat and one star diversity, and the other had a red-brown coat with 3 star diversity.
- Autumn spent a lot of time courting them, and finally decided to do a trial period with the red-brown one, though she seemed hesitant.
- Autumn and her trial mate, Desolation 36M, headed Northwest towards the old train tracks. On their way, they came across a mule deer, and the two of them hunted it down and killed it together. After feasting on it, they continued towards the railroad.
- Just as they reached the train tunnel, a pair of enemy wolves, Lucky 2F and Lucky 4M, attacked them. Both Autumn and Desolation 36M fought valiantly to drive them off, and finally defeated them. They chased after them, taking down the weakened Lucky 4M and killing him.
- Autumn and Desolation 36M slept near the body, and were awoken by the return of Lucky 2F. She fled, and they chased after her, easily killing her, too. After they howled triumphantly over her death, Desolation 36M expressed his interest in becoming Autumn's mate. However, she was still hesitant, and extended the trial period.
- After the pair rested again, they turned North, towards Midnight Mountain. While exploring the slopes of the mountain and moving down towards the narrow valley next to it, Desolation 36M again tried to become Autumn's mate just as the Midnight Pass Hunting Lodge came into sight. Once again, Autumn extended the trial period as she cautiously approached the cabin.
- Autumn and Desolation 36M entered the Taxidermy Lodge cautiously. Desolation 36M immediately left, pacing anxiously outside while Autumn remained inside for a much longer time. While she was inside, an enemy pack wolf appeared, but was quickly chased off without a fight by Desolation 36M. Shortly after, Autumn bolted out of the Hunting Club's cabin, and the two quickly moved to the East.
- As they were leaving Midnight Mountain behind, Autumn and Desolation 36M discovered an elk herd. Autumn attacked a weak adult elk, while Desolation 36M simultaneously lunged for the adult elk's calf. Autumn abandoned the mother elk and helped Desolation 36M take down the elk calf. After they feasted, they surprisingly chased after the herd again, targeting the mother Autumn had first attacked. After they quickly killed her, Desolation 36M ran in pursuit of a third elk, but Autumn called him back.
- The two began to return to the elk calf, but stopped as they noticed a male grizzly bear also moving towards it. Without hesitation, Desolation 36M attacked the bear, and Autumn joined in. When both of them were starting to weaken, Autumn retreated, heading back towards the adult elk and frantically calling for Desolation 36M. He finally abandoned the fight and followed her.
- Once they returned to the elk carcass, Desolation 36M again approached Autumn, asking to be her mate. This time, she lovingly licked his muzzle, a sign of affection and acceptance. Now he was officially her mate, and would spend the rest of his life with her. They would stay through the Winter, side by side, and in the Spring would raise their litter together. Now that the scientists knew Desolation 36M would be around to stay, they needed an official name for him. Thinking of his red-tinted coat, they called the handsome wolf Ember.

Winter:
- Autumn and Ember stayed by the meaty cow elk carcass as more snow fell and Fall turned into Winter. It wasn't long until Autumn was pregnant, expecting their pups. Now the pair had to establish their own territory to protect their future pups from the harsh world and the rival wolf packs.
- Beginning where they were up in the Northwest mountainous areas, the two began stealing land from the enemy wolf packs, working their way towards Blade Mountain. Once they reached the mountains and claimed them, they turned South.
- While moving downhill and South, Autumn and Ember encountered a peculiar glass house, and cautiously went inside to explore it. While they were investigating, two rival wolves from the Van Winkle Pack attacked them inside the house. The battle was very intense, with the fighting wolves mostly inside the house and occasionally popping out into the snow before returning to the house. Finally, one of the Van Winkle wolves succumbed to their wounds and died in the walkway of the house. Autumn chased the other one away.
- After a few minutes, Autumn realized Ember wasn't following her, and returned to the house to see what was wrong. She discovered that he was stuck in one of the rooms, unable to find his way out. She carefully helped him navigate back to the walkway, and led her mate back out into the snow. Once he was free, they continued Southwest, towards the Lost and Found.
- After claiming the Lost and Found, the pair once again slept to regain their energy. Although they were steadily claiming territory, they seemed to have no interest in rushing or hurrying to get good land. Instead, they calmly wandered along, stopping to explore human landmarks.
- Autumn and Ember started at Alison Acres, working their way West and claiming the old town. On their way they passed Floppy's enclosure, and briefly stopped to stare in puzzlement and wonder at the strange moose. Then they continued on, stealing the remainder of the town and the dam from the Lucky Pack. They turned North, claiming the Unspoken, Grant's Glen, and the Back Forty.
- While in the Western forests, Autumn and Ember caught the scent of an elk herd, and followed it. On their way, they spotted the two Calamity dispersal males. Autumn and Ember attacked the dispersals, chasing them away. Not long after, they discovered the pawprints of Ember's brother, the other Desolation dispersal. Autumn decided not to hunt him down and chase him away, but instead calmly ignored him and continued to the elk herd, where she and Ember killed a cow elk.
- After their hunt, the pair doubled back and turned East, crossing over the mountain ranches and into the valley where the rancher lived. They claimed much of that land, including the old valley town, the Temple Rocks, and bordering right up against the cattle ranch. Then they turned North, connecting their territory to the Lost and Found once again.
- Autumn and Ember had an incredibly huge territory that they had claimed. It stretched from the Blades Mountains down to the Lost and Found, encompassing the Temple Rocks and bordering the cattle ranch, reaching as far down South as the camera system reached, brushing the edge of the Unspoken, and easily containing the Back Forty and the town. Even with the original thin branch from where they had started to their main territory gone, they still had an unbelievably vast land. For a successful, established pack, their territory size was no huge feat, but for a simple pair of mates just only expecting their first litter of pups, it was unheard of.
Spoiler
Show
Basically, their territory was exactly 50 hexes and strong, no kidding! And the hexes along the bottom were as wide as their territory, so none of the other wolf packs would be able to sneak up and appear South of them.
- The two spent more time in the Winter, uncovering possible den locations. With such a huge territory, and with the wolves searching for dens, their dedication to their new pack was clear. Now it was time for their pack to receive a name, so the soon-to-be-born puppies would have a pack name to call their own. In honor of Ember's fire-related name, and how Autumn's name suggested red and orange leaves falling, they were named the Fire Leaf Pack.

Late Winter/Early Spring:
- Winter was beginning to melt into Spring, and it was nearly time for Autumn's pups to be born. In addition to keeping their territory strong, the pair now had to begin thinking of where would be a good site to give birth to their pups. They patrolled Blade Mountain, refreshing their markers, and had to waste time and energy returning to their Western border every other day, as the Lost River Pack relentlessly severely weakened or completely took over the edges of their territory.
- However, Autumn and Ember's pre-pup life wasn't all work. They spent a lot of time exploring the town of Lost River, spending hours roaming the streets and even entering human buildings where the door had been carelessly left open. At one point, Autumn slept inside a human building. Although Ember gradually went into more buildings for longer, he was still uncomfortable in human residence, and spent the night outside when Autumn slept on a human bed.
- After a long battle of trying to maintain their Western border, Autumn finally submitted a little, allowing the Lost River Pack to claim the very edges of their territory. However, she made sure that everything just inside was very strong.
- Although they had already discovered several dens, the two continued searching for more suitable denning sites. They seemed particularly interested in tree dens.
- Although she didn't officially choose a den, Autumn seemed to turn her attention to one den site under the roots of a tree North of Alison Acres. She often returned to it, searching around it. Fortunately, one camera was situated right near the tree den, giving scientists a perfect view of the activity that would occur in the unaware wolves' lives.
- Autumn began to bring small human items back to her preferred tree den. First came a bottle of Geyser Tonic, which she had been spotted carrying around for a while, only putting it down to sleep and howl. Next she quickly deposited a coffee mug next to the Geyser Tonic, and left, returning a day later with a pick-axe. The latest item was a maraca. All of these strange human items were grouped into a small pile next to one of the roots.
- Although Autumn had yet to move into the den and vanish under the tree, she was heavily pregnant. Both wolves, and the watching scientists, knew that it wouldn't be long until the pups came.

I don't know if anyone will see this, but if you are, then thanks for reading! The next log will come soon (probably tomorrow after I play the game again) so keep an eye out! I'll be adding more logs frequently, hopefully at least once a week until the pups are 20 pounds. After that... who knows what will happen (I haven't decided what to do after that.) Until then, bye!
The darkest night gave birth to a breeze,
Which grew to a storm, which shook the trees
A howl of fury tore through the night,
Fueling the fight to make wrongs right
The cry of the night was spread and thinned,
Carried on the shadow of the wind

Welcome back to Autumn's logs! Today, the most exciting part of a wolf's life will be shown: the birth of new pups! First, there are two things I forgot to mention yesterday that I probably should have, but forgot at the time. 1. Autumn and Ember have the same primary howl. 2. The identity of the Van Winkle wolf who was killed by Ember and Autumn was Van Winkle 4F. Now that you know this, enjoy reading the next part of Autumn's log!

Late Winter/Early Spring:
- Knowing their pups were on the way, and would soon be born, Autumn and Ember worked to ensure their territory was as safe as possible. From their unofficial den, they moved South, securing their Southern border, and then turned East, working up along the Eastern border with the Lucky Pack. Then they stole some of the land surrounding Blade Mountain from the Lost River Pack. They spent the night there, before turning back towards their den.
- On the way back to their den, the two wolves encountered the first dogs they had ever seen. It was a small pack of three, two German shepherds and a dachshund. Curious, Autumn chased them for a moment before abandoning the chase and returning to her den.
- After returning to the den, Autumn became more secretive, and eventually vanished under the trailing roots of the tree. Ember continued hunting on his own, bringing back food for her. The last traces of Winter vanished from the ground, just as the sounds of newborn pups drifted out of the den. Now all Ember could do was wait for Autumn to emerge.

Spring:
- Finally, several weeks later, Autumn emerged from the den, blinking in the bright sunlight. Her rounded belly had vanished, returning to its normal size. Ember eagerly greeted her.
Spoiler
Show
I advanced Autumn to age 3, and chose Stamina, Strength, and Fun Parent as her perks.
- Following Autumn, six pups emerged from the den for the first time. The scientists took their best guesses on which ones were born first, and titled them Fire Leaf 2M, Fire Leaf 3M, Fire Leaf 4M, Fire Leaf 2F, Fire Leaf 3F, and Fire Leaf 5M.
- In addition to their formal titles, the pups were given names, like Autumn and Ember. They were respectively named Spring, Obsidian, Mystery, Frost, Cinder, and Volcano.
Spoiler

Each of the pups were named what they were for two reasons. Spring, because of both the seasons like Autumn, and because of the surrounding hot springs found in Lost River. Obsidian, because of his dark fur color, and the relation to fire. Mystery, because of how his fur could look multiple colors depending on the light, and because of the mystery of Lost River's history. Frost, because of Autumn's long-lost brother (see below), and because of her sparkling white pelt. Cinder, because of her light gray pelt, and because of the relation to Ember's name. Volcano, because of his clearly red pelt, and because of the relation to fire.

Although Autumn was a new wolf build into WolfQuest from scratch without a family tree, in her lore, she had a littermate, Winter. When Amethyst and Autumn left their birth pack for their own safety, Winter was unable to come with them. He is alive, but doesn't know that Amethyst and Autumn are alive. Likewise, Autumn and Amethyst have no idea what happened to Winter. It is possible that I may add Winter to WolfQuest in the future and give him his own WolfQuest story, possibly once you can start a game in Slough Creek and I can start him there, but for now he is only a wistful memory to Autumn. Frost reminds her of Winter.
- As for the pups appearances: Spring had a mottled gray pattern, Obsidian had a dark gray pelt, Mystery could appear gray, brown, or black depending on the angle of the lighting, Frost had a bright white coat, Cinder had a nice light gray fur with a tiny hint of red in between, and Volcano was a beautiful red.
- Since their territory was extremely strong, Autumn and Ember were able to spend several days and nights with their pups, leisurely playing and sleeping beside their new pack.
- Mystery was the smallest pup by a lot, and Cinder was at first the heaviest. However, it wasn't long before Frost passed her in weight, and remained in the lead.
- Autumn seemed very eager to have pups, and constantly play-bowed, rolled, whined, and howled with them. Ember, on the other paw, seemed to feel awkward and uncertain of what to do, often moving farther away to let Autumn socialize with them and only moving in to feed them.
- Finally, after several days, Autumn finally ordered the pups into the den, summoned Ember to come with her, and moved West. For a while she seemed to be following a trail, likely an elk trail, but then she abruptly swerved in a different direction, as if finding a fresher trail and chasing that instead. She soon reached an elk herd labeled the Topaz herd, and attacked a spike elk with Ember. It seemed fairly weak, and the two wolves quickly took it down with very little damage from the hunt.
- After feasting on the spike elk, the two wolves returned to the den, with Autumn carrying a small chunk of meat, and returned to the den only an hour and a half after leaving. The pups returned outside, and the pack slept under the stars together.
- Upon waking up, Autumn and Ember fed the pups, and Autumn ate the meat chunk. They spent a while playing with the pups for another day or two, before Autumn once again ordered the pups into the den and left to the West with Ember.
- Even though they had just killed the spike elk the other day, and it seemed to be mostly intact, the two wolves tracked down the Topaz herd again, and quickly targeted a very weak cow elk. The elk immediately broke away from the herd, and stumbled and fell on a mild rise. It only took two or three quick bites from the pair of wolves, and the cow elk died without a fight. Once again feasting, and with Autumn carrying another meat chunk, they returned to the den only an hour after leaving and fed their pups.
- During the long times spent with the pups playing right in front of the hidden camera, the scientists began to get an idea of the pup's personalities. Frost and Cinder were both social, and adventurous. Volcano was very introverted, and rarely played, often sitting alone far away from the den. However, he was adventurous, and once almost wandered off before Ember retrieved him. Spring, Obsidian, and Mystery were all very close to each other.
- Once again, after another day or two, the pups were sent into the den, and Autumn and Ember left the den. This time, they moved South, towards Alison Acres.
- As the two wolves headed along the banks of Alison Acres, they startled a pair of beavers only feet from the water. Thinking fast, Autumn pounced on one, battling it ferociously. She killed it inches from the deep water, right at the edge of the shallows. Seeming very proud of herself, she carried her kill across the beaver dam, but slipped into the deep water, dropping her precious, hard-won kill. She spent several minutes trying to retrieve it, but though she could see it through the water, and how tantalizingly close it was, it was too deep for her to reach. Her amazing trophy and meaty meal was gone, lost to the river.
- Not long after, Autumn and Ember were seen farther South and on a mountain slope, displaying territorial marking behaviors. However, they doubled back and settled down where the beavers had been startled. Moving farther away from the water, they crouched down, and waited for several hours. At one point there were beavers, but they were too far away, and Autumn caught nothing.
- Back at the den cam, the scientists noticed the pups seemed to be becoming more and more restless. Just in time, Autumn gave up her beaver hunt and turned back towards the den. While she was on her way back, the scientists saw Obsidian emerge from the den, and then played outside of it. Autumn returned before and predators showed up, and fed her pups as they, too, emerged from the den. All of the lost bonds from her being hours away for so long were quickly made up as Autumn relentlessly played and socialized with the pups.
- Cinder kept trying to retreat into the den, but twice Autumn called her back out until the pack finally fell asleep.
- When they woke up, Autumn fed them, but only moments later suddenly ordered them into the den without warning. She stayed protectively close to the line of pups as they moved into the den, as if guarding them. Then, once the last pup, Frost, vanished inside, Autumn and Ember took off, heading East. Snarling sounds could be heard, and a few minutes later Autumn and Ember were seen chasing the pale ginger enemy wolf, Van Winkle 4M, across the den clearing. A second camera slightly farther West of the den captured video of Autumn and Ember viciously killing the enemy wolf.
- The scientists found it rather strange that the attacking wolf was from the Van Winkle Pack, even though there was a huge stretch of territory between the Fire Leaf Pack's den and their border with the Van Winkle Pack.
Spoiler
Show
There were 4-5 solid, strong hexes between the den and Van Winkle Pack territory from any direction, and the Van Winkle Pack only had a small section of the Northern border with the Fire Leaf Pack. I thought that if any stranger wolf attacked, it would be the Lucky Pack with the large Western border and only 2-3 hexes, or at least the Lost River Pack all along the Eastern border with 3-4 hexes of space.
- While Autumn and Ember were attacking Van Winkle 4M, Mystery came out of the den. When Autumn and Ember howled victoriously, Mystery joined in with his own squeaky voice from the den.
- Autumn and Ember returned to the den, calling the rest of the pups out, and letting them eat. After calmly eating and playing, the pack settled down together.

Welp, here's another one. I got bored, so decided to make another one today. It's shorter, though. So here's what happened in about an hour...

Spring:
- Not even an hour after the den attack from the Van Winkle Pack, Autumn again hurriedly ordered the pups into the den. She tried guarding them as they moved quickly inside, but not quickly enough. A pair of coyotes came into sight, hurtling straight for the exposed pups, but fortunately Ember intercepted them, blocking their path and chasing them away. Once all of the pups had vanished into the den, Autumn briefly chased the coyotes before returning to the den for her pups.
- Once again the pack slept, and when they woke up, the pups cried for food, but neither of the parents delivered. Sending the pups back into their den, Autumn turned West, while Ember separated from her and moved East.
- Autumn was seen attacking a spike elk of the Garment elk herd, and although she was hunting alone, she was able to kill the young male elk without any injuries, just scratches and bruises. After feasting, she turned East in the direction of Ember.
- Skirting around the den, Autumn continued to the East, where Ember had briefly touched up on the weaker territories before saving a very weak spot bordering with the Lost River Pack. Although Ember had gone by the time Autumn reached the spot, and had turned back towards the den in a circular, South-pointing route, Autumn added her own scent to their territory, making everything perfectly strong again.
- While Autumn turned and headed straight back to the den, Ember had already arrived, and was laying in the grass, calmly supervising the pups as they played nearby. When Autumn returned, she fed the pups.
- Ember was beginning to look dangerously skinny. His ribs were starting to show through his pelt, and he was moving slower. Scientists noted that, although Autumn had eaten from her spike elk kill, Ember had been reinforcing territory at the time, and had not eaten since the pair had gone to the cow elk.
- Right after feeding their pups, snow began to fall, lightly coating the ground. Autumn and Ember's pups experienced their first snowfall.
- Autumn curled up in the snow, all six of her pups huddled close to her, and Ember not far away. The pack slept fitfully despite the chill.

Here I am once again. Happy New Year! This one will be kinda short bc I'm tired and want to go to sleep.

Spring:
- With the territory beginning to decay, Autumn and Ember order the pups into the den, and turn North towards Blade Mountain.
- On the slopes of the mountain, they run into a dog pack- the same pair of German shepherds and dachshund as earlier in the year. At the same time, they cross paths with a fox, which Autumn and Ember easily kill.
- After reinforcing their hold on Blade Mountain, Autumn and Ember turn Southwest, moving along their Western border. They quickly move further West into a weak section of Lucky Pack territory, and take claim of a small chunk of territory that includes Lil' Yellowstone and the geyser/hot spring system.
- After stealing a small amount more of territory, Autumn and Ember finish patrolling their Western border and return to the den, briefly sidetracking to stop at the spike elk carcass so they can both feast. Carrying a meat chunk, Autumn returns home to her pups, and feeds them and plays with them before falling asleep.
- When they wake up, Autumn and Ember once again feed and socialize with the pups. Autumn seems slightly uneasy, perhaps scenting something off in the wind, but continues acting normal. After a while, Autumn orders the pups into the den.
- Suddenly Autumn enters a full-blown panic mode, frantically dashing about and ordering the pups into the den. She leaves Obsidian and Mystery above the den, rushing to defend the other four pups near the entrance, and spinning around wildly, attempting to detect some danger. Finally scientists see what the fuss is all about: a cougar, moving in from the West. Autumn spots it, too, and charges. Alongside Ember, she drives it back, and returns to guard her pups. The cougar returns, and though Ember keeps it at bay, Autumn charges when it gets too close to her pups. Finally it leaves, and after the last pup vanishes into the den, Autumn chases after the cougar.
- Autumn only chases the cougar for a very brief time before slowing to a steady trot, and turning towards Lil' Yellowstone with Ember. Along their way, they stumble across a strange sight: In a beaver pond, three beavers are calmly swimming about, but an elk herd grazes on the shore and swims in the beaver's pond. One elk is even standing half out of the water on top of the beaver's lodge.
- After attempting and failing to dive after one of the beavers, Autumn turns her attention to the elk herd. She and Ember are quick to target a fairly weak spike elk, which they quickly take down. The pair of wolves seems to be becoming bolder, and the scientists are interested to see them apparently developing a taste for young male elk.
- Once the pair has feasted, they return to freshen their scents on the recently stolen territory right by the geyser zone, and then turn home to begin the journey back to their den.

Sorry that it took a while, I was busy yesterday and didn't have a chance to post. Also, since Winter break is over now, I won't be able to add update logs as frequently, but probably every week, most likely sometime during the weekend.

Spring:
- Autumn and Ember return back to their den, and feed their pups. After falling asleep, the pack wakes up and socializes for a time. After several days pass, finally the signs of danger appear. Autumn stands erect facing West, and hurriedly orders the pups into the den. A single wolf appears, cautiously moving in with the hopes of eliminating future competition. However, Ember charges quickly before it can even get close to the den. The beautiful light gray enemy wolf, Lucky 2M, flees, with Autumn and Ember in pursuit.
- A short time later, Ember returns to the den, and supervises the pups. Autumn does not return, but is not long after seen farther West, still chasing and attacking Lucky 2M. The camera captures images of the intruder's final moments, with Ember howling non-stop in the background from the den.
- After killing Lucky 2M, her third kill from the Lucky Pack (which doesn't seem so lucky afterall), Autumn heads South towards Alison Acres instead of returning to the den. She circles the perimeter of the lake, finally settling down on the South side of the lake, next to a beaver trail, and falling asleep for a few short hours.
- Although she strategically had laid down right in the middle of the path, a trio of beavers still somehow managed to sneak around her, and Autumn was only awoken as the three brown creatures fled right past her with bundles of branches in their mouth. Rising to her paws as quickly as she could manage, she attacked one. By the time it freed itself from her, the other two were already paddling away, and it wasn't far behind. Autumn hurtled herself after it, taking two more giant bites.
- The beaver slipped into the water weakly, literally inches from death. Autumn splashed after it, catching it and killing it. Howling proudly, Autumn carefully carried her kill around the lake, passing an elk herd, on her way back to the den.
- At the den, Ember took a tiny nibble of the beaver, and then stepped back for Autumn to quickly devour the remainder of it. She fed her pups, and they fell asleep. A few more days passed peacefully. Light snow occasionally dusted the ground, and then quickly melted. Then, one day, something happened once again.
- Autumn turns her head Southwest, her fur bristling. She orders the pups into the den, staying close among them as the six pups swarm towards the den. Suddenly, a huge boar grizzly breaks from the cover of the trees. He charges for the pups, but Ember keeps him at bay long enough for all of the pups to vanish into the den... except Mystery.
- Charging at the bear, Autumn attacks in unison with Ember, but after a moment, he shakes them free. Poor Mystery is left outside the den, and in a panic, flees from the bear's jaws. Autumn frantically circles around the bear in a panic, as Mystery is right in front of his giant paws and gaping jaws.
- Just before the bear can scoop up the tiniest pup, Autumn and Ember attack just in time, distracting him long enough for Mystery to scramble away. Shaking herself free of the bear, Autumn plants herself between the giant beast and her tiny pup. The giant monster tries dodging and lunging around her, but Autumn distracts it long enough to send Mystery into the den, and then she and Ember chase it off West.
- The pair return to the den, and after a few days, they order the pups into the den and set out Northwest. They return to their latest spike elk kill, but there is only a tiny nibble left for Autumn, and the two ravenous wolves are left hungry. Doubling back, Autumn tracks down a bull elk herd they had passed on their way to the spike elk carcass. To the scientists' great surprise, the pair manage to take down a bull elk with only a minor injury each, and the pair happily feast on it.
- Carrying a small meat chunk, Autumn leads Ember to their East boundary, and strengthens their claim on a few weaker territories. Upon returning to the pups, they feed and socialize with their children, before settling down to sleep again.
- When they wake up, they again feed the pups. Autumn seems to scent something for a moment drifting from the West, but decides to ignore it. After about an hour or two, Autumn and Ember suddenly become defensive, ordering the pups into the den. A bear emerges from view as Autumn guards the pups. Again Mystery is in the back of the pack, and scientists are afraid he might get too close to the bear again. However, all of the pups are inside the den by the time the bear reaches it.
- As Autumn and Ember battle the bear, scientists are unsure whether it is the same boar as earlier, or a different one. Either way, Autumn and Ember finally manage to drive it off, and Autumn chases it North for a short time before returning back to the den.
- The pups once again emerge, with Obsidian at the end. Something seems off about him- right before the bear attack, he was acting perfectly healthy and normal. But now he is moving slightly slower, and pauses to cough. Autumn immediately picks up on this, and over the next few hours plays eagerly with her pups, though it is noted that she never leaves Obsidian's side for a moment. As the day wears on, his sickness becomes more evident.
- When it is time for the pack to sleep, Autumn gently picks up her exhausted son, and moves Obsidian a far distance away from the other pups. All of the pups except for Volcano are already passed out together in the tall grass, and as Autumn, Ember, and Obsidian settle down side-by-side, Volcano moves to join them, but still a safe distance away from Obsidian.
- When they wake up, Autumn again spends hours socializing with her pups. At one point she looks calmly towards the East, and orders the pups into the den, sticking close to them. However, she lifts Obsidian up by the scruff and stands in front of the den after everyone else has gone outside. She remains standing outside the den, holding Obsidian, as Ember runs to the East and chases off a ginger wolf without a fight. The wolf passes the den on its way back to its territory, and though scientists recognize it as a Lucky Pack wolf, they can not identify which one.
- Autumn releases Obsidian, and calls the pups back outside for a short period. Then she sends them inside again, once again holding Obsidian back. With Ember by her side, she runs off in the direction of the bull elk carcass, strangely taking Obsidian with her. On the way there, scientists see her briefly drop Obsidian once, by the old road. Even more strangely, the dark gray pup turns and starts walking in the direction of the den, until Autumn again seizes him by the scruff and continues on.
- At the bull elk carcass, there is fortunately only a fox, which is easily chased off by Ember. The ravenous Autumn can only eat in short gulps, due to having to fetch Obsidian before he strays too far. Once both wolves have eaten their fill, Autumn once again grabs Obsidian, and moves back towards the den. She again puts him down to catch her breath at the same spot on the old road, and then she is back at the den.
- After calling the other pups out, Autumn feeds them all and plays with them. Although Obsidian is clearly wiped out with no energy left, and very weak due to his illness, he is still very playful and friendly. Again, Autumn sleeps right next to him beside the den, while the other five pups sleep slightly farther down the slope with Ember.
- When they wake up, it is clear the night has taken its toll on Obsidian. Although alive, he is considerably weaker, and considerably more tired than the other pups. Autumn tries to rouse him to play, but he is not as responsive as the other pups. Both scientists, and clearly Autumn, are beginning to fear for his life.
- After an hour or two, Obsidian retreats into the den of his own accord, and Autumn follows him. All through the night, Ember watches the other five pups while Autumn remains inside the den with Obsidian, unseen. Over the course of the night, Spring and Cinder also creep into the den, despite their mother's clear wishes to keep her sick pup separated from her healthy ones to avoid contamination and further sickness.
- After several hours, Autumn emerges from the den, followed by Obsidian. Though he is still weak, his eyes are clear, and he no longer coughs or shakes. Cinder and Spring follow, both of them also as healthy and rambunctious as ever. Ember and the remaining three pups outside still show no signs of sickness.
- Obsidian, and the pack, have survived the brief illness. Although the wolves itch more frequently, and the pups are more restless, the pups are growing fast, and it will not be long before the pack leaves the den- so the fleas will not be a bother for much longer. Obsidian is still alive, and the sickness is gone- for now. At least, for a few short days, the pack is at peace in the world.

Hey everyone, sorry for such a long silence! I've been very busy irl and haven't had a lot of time to play WolfQuest. Here's the next update though! I do intend to keep this going at least for now, so I'll post whenever I can. Thanks for reading!

Late Spring:
- Life continued on in the Fire Leaf Pack. As dawn rose, Autumn interacted with her pups and Ember before sending them into the den. As the pups began moving into the den, Autumn suddenly became very tense and alert. A cougar appeared just as the last pups were entering the den. Autumn guarded them until they were safely inside, and then chased off in pursuit of the cougar.
- After the cougar had given up and ran away, Autumn howled for Ember. The pups hadn't eaten in a few days, and were getting hungry. Autumn seemed to sense that her spike elk carcass was gone, and moved Northeast. Ember, who had headed Southwest, turned around at the sound of Autumn's distant howl and began moving towards her.
- Autumn followed the river upstream, towards the Lost & Found. At one point she found and picked up a lump of pyrite rock lying on the riverside, but later dropped it. At the place where the river emerged from the rocks, near the old abandoned parking lot, Autumn encountered a lone female mule deer. However, the deer did not flee, as most deer would. Autumn spent a long time scouting the tall grasses surrounding the deer, but didn't find anything.
- After much fruitless searching, Ember caught up to Autumn. While the she-wolf continued searching, Ember repeatedly tried charging the defensive mule deer. Finally, Autumn gave up, picking up her rock and continuing Northeast.
- At the top of the slope, Autumn reinforced her weak territory, and then turned back towards her den using a trail slightly more North than the way she had come.
- On her way back, Autumn encountered a lone female elk hiding a calf somewhere. Dropping her rock, Autumn circled around for about an hour, keeping an eye on the elk and discouraging Ember from attacking. Finally, high up on the slope far away from the cow elk, Autumn stopped at a tall clump of grass with something concealed inside.
- Strangely, Autumn did not immediately kill the calf. Instead, she turned and waited as the cow elk charged up the hill. When the elk reached them, she gave Autumn a sharp flurry of blows on the wolf's snout. After unsuccessfully trying to attack the elk from the front, Autumn circled around, attacking the flanks. Ember eagerly joined in, and before long, the elk was turning to flee.
- Instead of letting it go, Autumn and Ember charged, finishing it off. After feasting from it, Autumn returned to the grass and killed the elk calf. Carrying the calf, she trotted slowly home, seeming to favor one paw slightly.
- With the extra weight of the elk calf in her mouth, it took Autumn much longer to return home. As she arrived, the impatient pups were just starting to come out of the den.
- Autumn dropped the calf for the pups, who could now eat fresh meat. Then, quick as a flash, the tired Autumn shot off to the West, returning a minute later with a limp hare dangling from her jaws. She dropped it beside the elk calf, letting the pups feast on both small carcasses. The hare didn't have much meat on it, so was soon devoured, but the elk calf would last longer.
- The pups well fed, and their parents tired, the pack settled down for a restful sleep. Soon, they would be moving as the pups outgrew the den, but for now, they could sleep peacefully together, and forget the harsh life of the wilderness if just for a moment.

Well, here's another one! The little babies are growing up fast! This means there will only be a few more logs left of Autumn and Ember's first litter... :( So enjoy them while the pups are still growing! Thanks for your continued support just by reading!

Early Summer:
- Seeming to realize that her pups are growing bigger and she needs to start thinking about a new home for the pack, Autumn sends the pups into the den and moves to the East with Ember.
- Autumn spends some time searching around the area immediately next to the river a short distance from her den, before leaving the forest and travelling Northwest. She catches one hare and gives it to Ember. A short time later, she catches another, and eats that one herself.
- A short distance away, a lone cow elk stands her ground as the pair of wolves pass by. The camera catches Autumn weaving in and out of view, Ember in tow, charging through clumps of grass. Eventually, Autumn stops in front of one particular clump of grass. The cow elk charges her, and avoiding most of the furious mother's blows, she and Ember kill the elk together.
- The cow elk falls with its body halfway hidden by the clump of grass. After howling their victory and feasting, Autumn and Ember continue a short distance further Northwest and sniff around for a while. Then Autumn returns to the cow elk's carcass, lifts a newborn elk calf from the grass, kills it, and runs back Northwest. She stops at a tall, nearly leafless tree in the middle of a clearing surrounded by clumps of tall grass. She drops the elk calf at the base of the tree and returns to the den with Ember.
- At the den, Autumn plays with the pups while they eat on the elk calf still left at the den. After some time, Autumn picks up the maraca and runs North of the den. Ember starts to follow her, but she barks at him, and he returns to the den with the pups. She is later seen at the tall tree where the elk calf is, and drops the maraca there. She briefly chases a grizzly bear lurking nearby, but gives up, and starts to return to the den.
- On her way back, Autumn turns away from her course, and scientists realize she is circling the clumps of grass around another lone cow elk. Before long, she finds her prize of an elk calf, and this time quickly kills it. She returns to the tree, placing the second calf next to the body of the first.
- Autumn returns to the den again, this time picking up the coffee mug. She brings it to the tree, putting it near the maraca, and notices a coyote prowling in the forest at the edge of the clearing. She falls asleep next to her two elk calves.
- When Autumn wakes up, she returns to her den. Ember stayed diligently with the pups as they played outside of the den. Autumn spends much time playing with the pups, who had missed their mother.
- After a time, Autumn takes the pick axe in her jaws, and again woofs at Ember so he stays with the pups. Then she brings the axe up to the tree, placing it between the maraca and coffee mug.
- Autumn starts to move towards her elk kill with Ember, and prowls through the clumps of long grass. Another cow elk is seen standing guard. Only when Autumn reaches the place where the elk carcass lay did the live elk move. Autumn stands her ground by the grass, waiting for the elk to come.
- Autumn's unique hunting style continued to improve, as is shone by her initial dodge of the mother's furious flurry of attacks. In the two previous hunts of this style, Autumn received some damage, but now, even without Ember, she is practically a professional at dodging nearly all of the mother's angry attacks. The cow elk tries to flee, but only gains a short distance of ground before Autumn finishes her off.
- With the mother dead, Autumn returns to the grass and plucks another elk calf out of the exact spot where the first one came from. She brings it to the tree, lining it next to the others and adding to her stash.
- The bear from before is still prowling nearby, and Autumn protectively settles down to fall asleep right next to her collection of elk calves.
- When she wakes up, Autumn again returns to her den, briefly interacting with the pups before taking the geyser tonic, the final human item she collected, and leaving the pups with Ember. She returns to the tree, dropping the geyser tonic with the rest of the human items, and sleeps again.
- When she wakes up, Autumn runs back home to the den. She eagerly greets her pups, who have all grown greatly even while she was away. Autumn and Ember recognize that the pups have outgrown their den. It is time for the pack to move to a new home, where the pups can roam and continue to grow into the strong, beautiful wolves they will one day be.

Summer:
- Autumn howls excitedly with her grown pups as they prepare to leave the den. The elk calf at the den is long gone, eaten by the rapidly growing pups, and the entire family is ready to move on and find new opportunities. The pack howls and plays in front of their den one last time, knowing they will never see it again- at least, not this year. The pack is still excited as Autumn leads the trot away, tail raised high, with the pups eagerly bounding after her.
- At first Mystery falls behind, and is carried to the front by Ember. Cinder is at the end to begin with, having tripped and fallen early, but she quickly catches up. Obsidian and Spring are right at the front with their mother. As the pack parades forward, Obsidian remains consistently at the front with his mother, seeming to have a great deal of pent-up energy and speed. Volcano remains at the outskirts, his antisocial loner nature causing him to veer away from his siblings. Throughout the journey, other pups catch up to the front before falling back behind.
- Autumn leads her pups the short distance to the double elk carcass spot. She, Ember, and the six pups feast freely as a pack from the two carcasses. Autumn scouts the nearby clumps of grasses and lets her pups play before angling Northwest and continuing on.
- Another short distance away, Autumn halts about a hundred yards from the tall, skinny tree she kept visiting earlier. Obsidian and Frost are in the front, and Volcano is way in the back, far behind everyone else. Autumn waits for him, and then howls gleefully with her family. The pack now has a new home.
- Autumn briefly howls and plays with her pups, but some of them are despondent, rolling over onto their backs and sides to sleep or curling up in long clumps of grass. Realizing how tired they are from even the short journey, Autumn settles down to sleep with the pack for a long rest.
- When she wakes up, Autumn excitedly plays with the pups and Ember, howling and playbowing and even showing rare signs of affection towards Ember, resting her chin on his back. The responsibility of raising pups and keeping their children alive had previously eaten up all of the adult wolves' attention, but now that the pups were slightly older, the two parents could begin to reestablish their loving time together.
- As the pups nibbled from the buffet of elk calves, the warm breeze of summer rustled the trees. Autumn vigilantly surveyed the surrounding areas, but didn't find any threat in the cluster of bison higher up on the hill, or the distant herd of elk gathered near the forest. Even a pair of eagles, one bald and one golden, didn't bother the pack. Although golden eagles have been known to prey on wolf pups, the pups are now too big to be carried away. Although Autumn and the pups halfheartedly chase the eagles, they aren't truly worried by them.
- With the pups grown, and on their way towards adulthood, no wolf is stressed or anxious during the relaxing warmth of the summer. Although they still have to worry about other wolf packs, and Autumn's territory is beginning to weaken around the edges, the pack still has more than enough of a safe buffer to protect them from other wolf packs. For now, even for a few short, beautiful days, Autumn's beloved family can lean back and loaf in the warm sunshine.

Weight update: Frost, the biggest, is just under 17 pounds. The runt, Mystery, is 15.3 pounds. The adolescent pups are so beautiful! Maybe I can upload a screenshot of them in the future to show you. Also, now that the quest is Endless Summer, I'll be shifting the focus of the logs from Autumn's adventures to more the relations of the pack as a whole. There will still be a lot of Autumn, obviously, but Ember and the pups will be a bigger part of the story. Their personalities and relationships with other pack members will really start to show more clearly.

Hey everyone who's reading! Sorry that it's been a long time, but I'm finally back! Thank you for your continued support by reading! Quick note, this is a very exciting, active, and chaotic log!

Summer:
- At last, everything was perfect. Autumn came into this with a very strong territory, so though it was now weakening, it was still so large that she didn't need to regularly patrol it. With three entire elk calves stored at the rendezvous site, and other nearby elk carcasses, the pack was well-set on food and had no need to hunt. Even the pair of eagles hanging out with the pack didn't bother her, because the pups were too big to be carried off.
- The pack spent another day lounging peacefully with no worries, everything in perfection the way it was supposed to be. Little did the peaceful family know, they were about to enter a long period of heart-pounding, disastrous chaos.
- The next day, Autumn noticed a bear nearby, and ordered the pups into the den. As the pups hid in the grass, Autumn and Ember fought valiantly against the boar grizzly.
- Although both wolves started out strong, Ember weakened very quickly as he got right up in the bear's face to defend his pups. He suffered a slight injury to his leg, evident by a slight favoring of one paw, and then later pulled the leg entirely. He couldn't put any weight on his front left paw, but he still kept going at the bear.
- Autumn was clearly fearful for the lives of both her pups, and now her greatly injured mate. She tried to keep him away from the bear, as he was on his last legs, and very, very close to death. At one point, one of the pups emerged from the grass for a moment, and Autumn rushed over to the grass to defend the pup. While she was doing this, Ember was able to make another attack on the bear, and suffered further damage.
- With her mate barely able to stand, Autumn attacked the bear, biting at it until it fled. Then she anxiously returned to her injured mate. Ember was alive, but very weak- one or two more bites would have killed him. She attended to her frantic pups, and then kept the pack together as they rested and healed.
- When the pack awoke again, Ember was still gravely injured, but slightly better than before. However, Spring had fallen sick with an illness.
- Not long after, Volcano has caught his brother's sickness. The two of them began to decline. At this point, both Autumn and Ember were hungry, and the pack was down to one elk calf. There were no more nearby elk carcasses, and though Autumn caught a hare, it was quickly devoured by the hungry pups.
- Then, there was another boar grizzly attack. Clearly remembering what happened only days ago, Autumn flew into a panic, sending the pups into the grass and attacking head-on. When the bear quickly gave up and left, Autumn chased it for a long distance, Ember limping behind. At this point, Ember was slightly stronger, and healing well.
- The next pup to fall sick was Mystery. Now, half of her litter was ill, her mate was severely wounded and limped, and her pack was beginning to feel the strains of hunger.
- Once the bear was a far distance away, Autumn finally gave up the chase. Instead, she began following the scent of the wind, Ember behind her.
- She eventually came upon a lone doe mule deer, and noticing how it didn't flee instantly, began to scout out the surrounding grass clumps. Eventually, she stopped at one across the dirt path, and the mule deer came running. Using the same tactics she had used for elk mothers with calves- she killed the mother, feasted from it with Ember, and then brought the fawn back to her pups and rendezvous site.
- When Autumn and Ember returned, Autumn gave the mule deer fawn to her pups, and then quickly killed a nearby hare to bring that back to her pups as well. Autumn seemed slightly, but other than that was normal.
- After her pups feasted, they settled down for a nap, and Autumn did, too. However, a third bear attack interrupted her, and she quickly sent the pups to hide in the grass. This time, the bear was chased off quickly and easily, and Autumn stood at the top of the ridge to watch and make sure it was gone.
- After Autumn returned, she called the pups out of the grass. When they went into hiding, Volcano, Spring, and Frost had entered one clump, while the other three had went to a different one. Autumn picked up Frost and carried her to the other clump, then brought Mystery to the clump with the other two sick pups. Then she ordered them all back into the grass, and slept near the grass with her three sick pups.
- Autumn's isolation plan worked, because no new pups fell ill. After the pups ate, played, and slept again, Autumn discovered that Spring, the first to get sick and the weakest, had recovered from his sickness. Despite this, and Ember's improved health, the pack was still weak after the chaos that had unfolded in the past several days- though the food issue was solved, two pups remained ill, one was greatly weakened, and one of the two adult wolves still had a heavy limp.
- Not long after, Ember quickly sent the pups into hiding again. The cameras picked up a blurry image of a pair of light-coated wolves pacing in the distance, by the ridge. They only started running to the den when the pups were nearly hidden. With the pups out of the way, Autumn and Ember were free to fight the strangers, later identified by scientists as Lost River 1F and Lost River 4F.
- After a while of fighting, Lost River 4F was considerably weakened, and both Lost River enemies retreated. Autumn and Ember chased after them, with Autumn biting Lost River 4F's heels. A short time later, not-so-distant howls of triumph were heard from Autumn and Ember, and Lost River 1F was later seen returning home alone. Lost River 4F was never again seen on camera.
- After a few more days, Volcano also recovered from his sickness, leaving only Mystery. Autumn seemed worried about her ill runt, evident by how she never left his side. The runt swiftly declined, until he was at the point where he could barely move.
- Right when Mystery seemed on the verge of death, he recovered from his sickness, and began healing very slowly.
- Though the pack had been through a lot in the past several days, and were still considerably weakened- Mystery still needed much time to heal from the detrimental effects of the illness, and Ember needed just a little more time to repair his leg damage- the pack had survived this chaos, and could survive anything.

Frost, the largest pup, is at 20.7 pounds! Everyone else is either at or over 20 pounds, except for Obsidian, who is 19.6, and Mystery, the little runt down at 18.9. But, still, the end of this quest draws near, and soon Endless Summer will be upon this pack. I haven't quite decided what I'm going to do with them. I'm quite attached to Ember, and several of the pups. My original plan was to wait until the Saga comes out... but then I changed my mind, deciding I would go through all six years of pup litters with Autumn and Ember, and choosing 1-3 pups from each litter to grow up and have their own family. Now, though, I'm thinking I might just keep this family the way it is and wait for the Saga, to use a different wolf in the meantime. I haven't decided yet, but if any of you happen to have any imput or reasons why I should do it either way, I'd be happy to hear your opinion.

Hey everyone, and welcome back! As you probably noticed, the pups are getting large... so I regret to inform you that this will be the last log. Don't worry, though! I disclosed more information about possible future plans and other ambitions at the bottom! Thank you all so much for your continued support in reading this, and I hope you enjoy it!

Summer:
- Autumn, Ember, and the pups awake, and play for a long time. As they do so, Ember's leg injury finally heals, and he can walk normally again without limping.
- The pack sleeps after a while, and when they wake up, they again play for a while. However, they are out of food, so after a long time, Autumn sends them into the grass. All of the pups head towards one clump, except Obsidian, who goes to a different one. Autumn goes to him, picks him up, sets him down next to the other clump where all of the other pups are, and orders him into that one.
- Once all of the pups are safely in the grass, Autumn whines to Ember, and the two wolves set off.
- Autumn goes South first, in the direction of the wind, and seems tense. It is likely due to a possible heavy scent of grizzly bear, as other cameras noticed boar grizzlies prowling nearby earlier. Instead, Autumn veers West.
- Autumn marks part of her territory, and finds an elk herd nearby. She and Ember hunt, and manage to easily kill one of the young calves. The two feast, and quickly finish it.
- Then Autumn tracks down the herd again, killing a second calf that fell far behind even quicker than the first. She and Ember again feast, leaving about half of the kill left before continuing West.
- Not far from the kill, Autumn collides straight into a startled boar grizzly, and quickly hurries away, heading West.
- Autumn runs West, seeming to track a scent. It seems she is following along in the pawsteps of another wolf, who was reported to be Lucky 1F and caught on the cameras not even 3 hours before. Autumn gets closer and closer to the enemy wolf deep in her territory, marking the territory as she goes.
- Near the edge of her territory, Autumn catches up to the light ginger alpha female. She and Ember attack the enemy wolf, who seems considerably weakened. The enemy flees quickly, and Autumn seems to consider chasing her down before howling triumphantly and turning away.
- Autumn heads back deeper into her territory, and North, crossing through the territory of the enemy Lucky Pack. Then, she reaches the edge of the two territories.
- Autumn claims some of the Lucky Pack territory as her own, and then strengthens her own territory along the border.
- With her belly full and her borders fresh and strong, Autumn begins heading back to her den.
- Along the way, she finds and chases a hare. Ember also notices it, and follows in pursuit. Ember catches up to Autumn, running just behind her, and then outpaces her at the last moment to snatch up and kill the hare.
- Autumn follows close behind Ember as he walks away. She has her eyes set on the hare in his mouth, which he refuses to set down. Then she lovingly rests her chin on his pack, and he instinctively drops the hare. When he steps back and wags his tail happily, Autumn reaches down and picks up the hare.
- The two wolves return to the rendezvous site, and the pups come out. Autumn gives them the hare, but they still quickly finish it and are still hungry. Ember gives some of his own food to Frost, and the hungry pups quickly eat that.
- There is an elk herd within sight of the rendezvous site, to the North. Autumn starts to run in that direction, and Ember follows him. Autumn pulls to a halt, woofing at him several times before he finally turns back to the pups.
- Autumn runs to where the elk herd was, and then turns West. She finds a hare a short time later. She catches and kills it, then brings it back to the rendezvous site. She drops it by the pups, and runs away again. Once more, Ember attempts to follow him, but a quick woof sends him trotting back to the pups.
- As the sun rises, Autumn tracks a scent North, beyond the elk herds. She eventually finds a female mule deer with a fawn, and quickly kills the fawn. Then she carries the fawn home, dropping it for the pups and playing with them.
- After a long time of playing in the bright daylight, Volcano sits down and curls into a tight ball. Several of the other pups begin to slow down, laying down around him. Obsidian is with his father quite a distance away. Autumn settles down, and takes a short nap with her pups.
- As the sun begins to set, Autumn again awakens. Her pups return to take another nibble of the mule deer fawn. Then, Autumn starts a howl. All of the pack join in, howling in the sunset. The pups have grown well over the summer, even the little runt Mystery. Autumn and Ember are both very pleased with their work, and very happy for their pack. However, this is not the sunset of their pack's era. For tomorrow, the sun shall again rise, and the pack will continue on, stronger and brighter than before.

So, although this is the last log, this pack's journey will not be ending. Let me tell you about a few future plans I have relating to this pack and its members:
1. I couldn't contain my curiosity, so after I finished the game and generated a family snapshot, I made all six of the pups into playable characters to look at their coats, attributes, etc. So later today, I will make one more post to this page- not really a log, but more of an extra, just to share what I found out about Autumn's pups' adult selves!
2. I have grown very attached to Autumn, so I will very likely be playing with her and her pups in Endless Summer. Though I won't put logs of that here, I HOPE to possibly get a YouTube channel soon? Don't get your hopes up- it may not happen, and even if it does, my computer may not be able to screen record. But I could possibly share screenshots of Autumn hanging out with her pups in Summer.
3. Having looked at the pups' grown characters, I am highly tempted to play through the Game with some, if not all, of them. Keep in mind that I am also working on other WolfQuest projects (see below), and even if I do end up playing with some of them, it might be a while.
4. There is a small chance that, if I do end up playing with some of my future pups, I may also let Autumn and Ember have another litter, or possibly more. But do not get your hopes up, as I may or may not discard this idea.

In addition to this, I am working on other WolfQuest projects and ideas, some of which are mentioned below:
1. Looking back, some of you may remember Amethyst. I did make her a character as well. She is currently in Amethyst Mountain, and has two different mates- two brothers 24 and 25M of- I forget which dispersal pack... named Alpine and Aspen. I do not want to go to Slough Creek with them, and am waiting for dens and pups to come to Amethyst. Then I will likely let Amethyst have a litter or two of pups.
2. I recently made my first Ironwolf, who is also the first wolf I was able to play on Accurate with and not drop to a lower level. His name is Alastar, and his mate is Blackfire (because she has the Blackfire coat). Right now they are still establishing territory, but I am eager to see their future pups and play through that.
3. I do have a wolf named Luna, who I got about halfway through Slough Creek with an never finished. I would like to go back and finish that at some point soon.
4. I have two other interesting wolves in Slough Creek, with a litter of four pups I want to get through and more litters after.
5. I have an idea for a new wolf that I'll probably end up creating later today.
6. I also have an idea for a genetics coat experiment I want to try.

Some of these projects are personal, while I might share some of them. So keep an eye out for some of these, and have a great day! I hope you enjoyed Autumn's logs as much as I enjoyed making them! :D

Which grew to a storm, which shook the trees
A howl of fury tore through the night,
Fueling the fight to make wrongs right
The cry of the night was spread and thinned,
Carried on the shadow of the wind

Reread this recently. Just as good as ever! :D Are you planning to write a story about Winter soon, since all quests on Slough Creek are now enabled? If not that's fine :P , just curious! :o

I’m glad you enjoyed reading this, and came back to read it again! :D

Even after all of this time, I have still not decided which direction to continue this because I’m very indecisive lol. I am currently working on several other projects, both relating to WolfQuest and outside of it, but I do plan to return to this eventually! Depending on when I get back around to this, I may just wait for the Saga (although it is more likely I will allow Autumn to have more litters and play through a small selection of her pups).

If you were referring to Amethyst, then yes indeed, I am planning to write something about her! I am VERY excited that all of the quests are now available on all of the maps, and I am planning to soon play through with Amethyst! She has quite a sad backstory, and she does deserve to get to live her life with a loving mate and a litter of healthy puppies. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to start playing through and writing this down, but I hope to do so soon! :D

Once again, thank you so much for expressing interest in my logs, and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully, more will be on their way soon! :P
