Re: Wolf Chat

That scratch reflex sounds adorable! Was doing some research in my copy of Wolves: Behavior, Ecology and Conservation by L. David Mech and found out that sometimes wolves can travel for huge distances for seemingly no reason (OR7, anyone?), displaying a focus similar to their 'homing' behavior if t...

Re: Genes Behind the Scenes

I've been thinking of something. In a video on the YouTube channel, a player asked a very interesting question for me (but I did not see if you answered). He asked, if there was a possibility to rotate the camera, as in The Isle. For example, when you turn the mouse to a certain place, the dinosaur...

Share your latest Wolfquest game!

(I don't recall a topic of this nature being around but I only looked a few pages back so, moderators, feel free to lock and point me to it if there's a topic with the same concept) It's a very simple concept but I thought it'd be neat for us to talk about our most recent Wolfquest games! Each of t...

Re: Genes Behind the Scenes

At this point I want to giggle a little because ultimately my favorite game is also becoming my dream game. You add things I don’t even think of! The educational aspects of this game are increasing in a million different ways and I hope that you guys receive lots of publicity for this unique labor ...

Re: Cliff Notes

Your attention to detail and passion for getting things right and never going half-way continues to delight me. This new version is going to be mind-bogglingly different and I eagerly await the distant day when it comes out. It’ll certainly be a party.

Re: Progress at last!

Wow! Thats amazing! I’m glad you’re back and nice job making it through the mate mission. ^_^ It sounds like you’re playing the older, free version of Wolfquest called 2.5. The new version, 2.7, is much better but also costs about 10 dollars. It’s going to get a huge update this year, though, that ...

Re: WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone: Slough Creek

I always appreciate a game developer who can hike across Yellowstone! Your attention to detail (and the..cold, watery lengths you take to make sure it’s perfect) astonishes me. Eagerly waiting for the vlog where you sample an old elk carcass and the one where you nearly give your life fighting off ...

Re: PangolinQuest Roleplay Thread

(this clearly needs more proper "roleplay anatomy" brb going to find some of those weird termbooks) *The brute with long, gleaming mail lining his well-protected cadaver and warm, ochre eyes that make the female pangolins faint waggles his elongated elucidate(?!), his gleaming scimitars scratching ...

Oh, I'd love it! I don't usually like to show my art but I certainly enjoy talking about it so I definitely would use that, too!

Re: Texturing the Terrain

Wow, it certainly seems like a while until both maps will be complete in scenery and textures alone, but I’m delighted to see the time and effort put into them being rich and lifelike. At this rate I’ll likely challenge myself to plant identification when the game is released. I can see even more n...

Re: Vote for a New Animal!

I chose porcupine because it would be a lot of fun to stumble across and would certainly be unlike anything we’ve seen in the game. I’m excited for how rich and lush the Wolfquest 3 world is going to be!

Re: New Tricks for the Pack: Improving MP functionality

[posts moved to Ideas For New Episodes] The alpha/omega dominance theory has been disproved: in short, wild wolf packs aren’t ranked (it was previously thought to be so because they studied captive, unrelated wolves in situations that very rarely happen in the wild instead of actual wild wolf packs...

I’m fond of Bluebell. It’s a cute, flowery name that doesn’t get used much.

Re: FAQs about WolfQuest 3: Anniversary Edition

I apologize because I'm you get this question a lot, but I can't seem to find the answer in the faq page for tower fall. It said that by the end of the summer, your pups should grow big enough to join in the hunting trips. But does that mean follow along so as to watch and learn, or will they help ...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes V2

I have an idea; How about pups fur coat color depends on the parents? Especially in Tower Falls. Having all the pups be dark, colored, when both parent wolves are say, white, feels a bit unrealistic to me. And I guess pups have their pup fur and so on, but by the time they reach Tower Falls, I'm su...
