Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates

Unfortunately, that could confuse players in single player, and it wouldn't make sense as WolfQuest takes place specifically in yellowstone. It would be a lot of work to add a whole new feature for something that doesn't really apply to non-rp players and that goes against the specific science based...

Re: Hunting Strategy

If I'm a wolf with a low speed stat, I like to chase the elk towards obstacles to get them to split and turn. It's a but hectic and you might accidentally get kicked, but it will allow you to catch up with the weak elk you're hunting

Forum Game - Outlandish Ways To Die Wolfquest edition

So on the discord server, me and a bunch of people made a big list of crazy and outlandish death messages for elder wolves, with an increasing number for each one. For example, 1. Floppy goes on a rampage. You are but one of the many casualties. 2. Bison inc hired the invisible eagle from 2.7 to kil...

Re: Tell me about wolves you brought back from 2.7!

I brought over my wolf Storm (but without the limp) and my wolves Griffin, Ash, and Zephyr. I think it's so cool that AE has so much freedom in playstyles, and you can behave differently for different wolves. For example, hunting beavers, having different territory/dens/rendezvous sites, playing in ...

Re: Should WolfQuest add the ability to hunt fish?

Wyoming and Minnesota are completely different ecosystems, especially in the context of where wolves live. You can tell just by looking on a map. Yellowstone is roughly 8000 feet above sea level, where Minnesota is only a few thousand. Voyageurs national park has so many lakes and tributaries, with ...

What features are you most excited for?

I personally love seeing the devblogs and all the amazing things that the devs are working on. Bighorns will be really challenging and fun to hunt, and I really hope they get their own song, like how beaver trail waiting got its own song. Achievements will also be super neat, especially being more e...

Re: Wolves eating blueberries

The Voyageurs wolves have very different diets than ones in Yellowstone, and I think adding this may cause misinformed people to be like "but why can't wolves be vegetarians? Predators eating things is mean 😡😡😡" which would be... not good for a game about wolf education and yellowstone ecosystems

Re: Should WolfQuest add the ability to hunt fish?

While it's possible that a yellowstone wolf might go after fish, the game wants to encourage more common behaviors, like hunting elk. Fishing takes a lot of energy and not a lot of reward. Maybe for a solo wolf it could be a meal, but certainly now a whole family. The devs want players to make decis...

Re: Moose should display aquatic foraging behavior

Ooh, that would be really cool! I've noticed that I often find moose more along the creek, but maybe that's just because I'm more likely to notice them in flooded areas as opposed to dense forests.
Either way, it would be so cool to see more moose in or near water
