the pups' color can change as they grow though... aren't arctic wolf pups usually born with darker fur?

Pokemon Red/Blue and Gold/Silver were my favorites, I was crazy about Pokemon back then, but i haven't played the newer ones much and I never saw a shiny except for a shiny Wooper in Silver (i think) but i accidentally made it faint too

I'm getting an error installing it too, and that happened with the last update too but I downloaded the zipped version instead and it worked, but there isn't a zipped version for this one?

you have to be the alpha (i think) and you have to wait until a certain time of the year, late winter or early spring (depends what place you're playing in, arctic or timber or plains) and usually then the other wolf runs up to you and you mate without having to click on them

i think it was saying that the wolves have different coloring because they're the alphas (and eat different things from the rest of the pack), not that they're the alphas because they have different coloring...

yeah most of these packs do have 4 members, or sometimes they have "backup" members in case they're not all online at the same time

that's interesting, i didn't know that packs kill more of certain prey depending on how many females or males are in the pack...

umm yeah i thought it was the other way around, that whales and dolphins evolved from land mammals, not land mammals evolving from whales and dolphins... unless it was both, maybe land mammals evolved into whales and then some whales evolved into different land mammals... evolution is confusing like...

WolfQuest also has an end... any game that has an end isn't really a simulation to me :P in Wolf you can keep going for years, see the seasons pass by many times, go through many generations of pups and have your pack grow really big (although i've never been able to do that, lol).. in WolfQuest you...

are you sure c:\wolf is where you have the game files? and i'm not sure if it makes a difference but i type it with the slash going the other way, c:\wolf not c:/wolf

even if it isn't, I don't think WolfQuest is exactly a replacement of Wolf, it's not just the same game with better graphics... I think I posted this before somewhere but I think WolfQuest will be more of an RPG, and Wolf is more of a simulation, they'll be pretty different even if they're both abou...

all i know is, it's not true that a duck's quack doesn't echo (a lot of people say that) also wolves make so many different kinds of howls at different pitches and everything, it would be weird if all of them didn't echo
