I always name them these: Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Gamma. No reference to ranks or anything, just naming them after Greek letters.

My wolf is rather fast, but with enough strength to take down elk after ~10 minutes of chasing, and just enough stamina to go from one side of the map to the other. I don't remember the exact stats, but I pull up the speed bar while the the strength and stamina hover around zero, the strength slight...
