You could have a mates trial period where if you don't get certain things completed such as bringing down an elk with them, then they're more likely to stop pursuing in interest of you. Adjusting difficulty level would be a good idea. I could see unavoidable, permanent death being a real deterrent for newcomers.
So no death could be beginner level, Death with revival can be intermediate, and permanent death could be advanced.

I don't know is this was answered previously, but I had a question about predators.
Will the bears and coyotes be getting new models and AI as well? I can't imagine the cougar will be, since it's quite new.

I know it's supposed to look awkward but something seems really off about it. It looks... Stunted almost. Not all there. You get my drift. The forehead also looks like it slopes wayyyy too much in the profile image, compared to the real pup.

The movement of the deer is absolutely gorgeous. I feel like they might make the Elk look a bit stilted! That being said, are there plans to improve/replace the elk models?

I've pondered a little and decided to offer my input on the day/night cycle. What if it was just the same system we have now, but automated?
