In multiplayer, I like taking any rough area that has something you could use as a den (logs, wheels, etc.) I usually explore are cliffy areas of the map, too. I haven't actually tried these, but I thought them up and found them some rather good boredom busters.

1. Kill coyotes to mark exactly where the borders of the map are.
2. Kill a hare on top of another hare.
3. Train a pup to walk right into a predator.
