Re: Anyone else hate Coyotes???

Coyotes are a problem in my area. They kill and disturb farm animals like sheep, chickens, goats, and even the occasional cow. Small dogs and cats are killed too. But when I hear them singing at night I don't mind them much. It's nice to know that i have such beautiful animals nearby, even if they a...

Re: Are there wolves at your local zoo?

There's a pretty small zoo in the area - they've got two black bears, a few llamas, a petting zoo with a half a dozen goats and a potbellied pig, and one wolf. She is well fed and has a roomy area, but she is alone and has nothing to do.

Wolfpack - Syd Barrett

It's a bit strange, I'll tell you. Barrett wasn't mentally well when it was recorded, I believe.

Re: What is your top five favorite animals?

1. Cranes, especially Sandhill and Whooping
2. Dogs
3. Wolves
4. Bears
5. tie between Red-Winged Blackbirds and Canada Geese

you'll find a lot of cranes, blackbirds and geese around here in the marshes. It's great to see the cranes, although they're incredibly loud.

uhm, not this far south, but there may be a few at the northern edge of the state.

We have way too many coyotes, though. A cougar's been seen around here too, although I have no idea how it ended up here. Ooh, and black bears are up north =D

uhm, yeah, I'm in Wisconsin btw xD

Re: Dreams of Wolves?

I've never had a real wolf dream, where the center of the dream was wolves. I once did have a dream that was largely about my dog drowning, but there were several coyotes and wolves nearby, following a bunch of indians on horses. Yes of course that was random. I should read about wolves before bed S...

Re: Would you ever...

Even if it were a complete stranger, if anything, including a wolf was mauling him/her, I'd try to do something, even if it meant shooting the thing. If it was my own dog mauling a stranger, I'd shoot it. I know many of you would never choose a stranger over your pet, but when I think about it, the ...

Andere Zeit

A young wolf, determined to set a pack apart from the others; less a group of mature wolves fighting to survive and hold their territory, but a band of wolves roaming as they please. He wants his pack to be in Andere Zeit – another time. Name: Polaris Age: Late into the second year Birth Date: April...

Re: Scylla - A New Pack On The Block

Mmm, this looked like a nice pack, with a leader that actually can type. You haven't been on for 17 days, though. I dunno, I think my wolf (figured him out, woo!) might just find another pack.

Mmm, interesting wolf, and probably a nice pack when December comes. I'll edit this in a minute with a wolf xD

I found it on a petz forum. I'm not a devoted fan, though. I've been gone since the middle of August or so xD

I loved Fire Bringer, but I haven't been able to get The Sight yet. It sounds incredible from the first few pages.
