Rare Rhino with Armed Guards
I didn't check to see if there is currently a topic on this, so if there is just go ahead and lock this. I was also unsure of whether this was in Taking Action or not. The Javan Rhinoceros is now considered the most endangered mammal on earth. It recently became extinct in Vietnam in a nature preser...

Re: Coolest Places in Nature?
I'd love to visit the Salar de Uyuni sand flat after it rains- the land becomes the world's largest mirror. http://bit.ly/P1dztV I'd like to visit Yellowstone and Yosemite sometime as well, or the old growth forests in the Pacific northwest. I really like forests~ That's actually one of the few pla...

Re: Coolest Places in Nature?
The most beautiful places I've basically seen in the world are the Grand Canyon, just American deserts in general, and just basically any snowy/rocky mountain in general. I would love to go to Yosemite and see the nature there or Yellowstone. Both the places seem so pretty. Same with the sand dunes...

I really like sassafras trees. Their leaves smell wonderful, like like like.... Just.... And they are edible for chickens (No, do not try to eat them xP).

Oh wow. These pictures look great! I especially like the third picture of Tennessee . It looks like a parallel world the way the trees reflect all wavy and stuff ^^.

Re: Radio Active Animals!
This is really interesting. A lot of people say that c ockroaches are resistant to nuclear activity but a lot of people don't know that a huge amount of animals actually are. This probably is a bit irrelevant but 10 years after Chernobyl people found high levels of radiation in cow milk in Minnesot...

Re: Coolest Places in Nature?
There are so many really cool places on earth. If I could, I'd name 100 of them but these ones are at the top of my list :) The Great Barrier Reef, Australia- http://www.itsnature.org/Natural_Wonders/images/article-images/Great-Barrier-Reef.jpg Mediterranean Sea, Greece- http://blog.dolmenyachts.co...

Re: What type of plastic does your country recycles?
Very interesting topic. I believe we can recycle every type of plastic in the USA. We probably can since the USA is one of the most industrious countries in the world. I think recyclables 1, 2, 5 and 6 are the most common personally. 1 includes water bottles. 2 includes trash bags. 5 includes drink...

Re: Favorite National Park?
I have a new favorite ;D My favorite national park is the Adirondack National Park in Upstate New York. It is the size of the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Yellowstone combined! The Winter Olympics were held there twice and yes, the Adirondack Chair was invented here xD. I think a lot of people forget...

Re: Your Best Experience With A Wild Animal?
I have only had a few cool interactions with wild animals. Let me see x3.... Once, I was visiting family in Florida and we were swimming around near a sand bar. Then a felt a leathery feel against my leg. When I looked down it was a big, gray blob. Naturally, I thought it was a shark and I screamed...

Re: Certain critters you should not kill
I have Katsaridaphobia, which is a fear of c ockroaches. I live in a city area where there tend to be more pests and I absolutely can't stand it. I don't mind spiders because they kill flies but if I had one wish I would wish that all the c ockroaches were in the Arctic Ocean :3.

Silverness: As for pink horses... Were they too lazy to use video-editing? Haha, as long as the horses are fine it's not too much of an issue though. Exactly my thoughts Cx. Anyway, I read more about the pink horses and the singer, Pink, actually pursued the case and told PETA about it. She tweeted...

Re: Dyed Dogs
I find this awful treatment for animals. Just imagine someone dying your hair an odd color without you knowing. I have heard of some music videos using horses that were dyed pink. I actually think this is fine as long as it washes out and isn't harming the horse in any way. Then again, I have heard ...
