They can easily play the demo or 2.5 if they want to see what WQ is like before deciding if a purchase is worth it.

I doubt that having pups aging and hunting as a pack would make the game too much more resource intensive. Something such as this would take time, effort and money to program and create however.

Though, I have no account yet, and I don't know if I will like it or not.

Anyone heard of Wolf-Haven, by the way? Cannot find much about the game on these forums.
I used to play it. If you like simple browser-based RPGs, it's an okay site.

I believe colors aren't restricted to certain territories and that it's random. I don't know if the white coat has been enabled for males yet.

And that is fine. You don't have to buy 2.7 if you feel that it is not worth it. The possibility is there that they will get enough funding from sales to make an episode 3.

Re: WQ 2.7 costs $10. Is it worth it?

Its not worth it. Why? Because its just an update. Better graphics, a new map, and customization. I am not paying 10 bucks for an update. No way. The purpose of the game is the same, raise pups and bring them to the summer Rendezvous site. And... voila.... And since I am definetly not a multiplayer...

Re: Has WolfQuest Taught You Anything About Wolves?

The website and forums taught me more than the game, but that probably had more to do with the game not being out yet when I found WQ.

Though I suppose the game could teach some people new things, it's mostly realistic and educational.

I had assumed that having to pay for accounts would have helped deter those rule breakers. I mean - free accounts are one thing, but why risk getting an account banned that was paid for? But I guess I was being too optimistic.

Re: Wildest WolfQuest Rumors You've Heard

The only one I've ever seen were occasional people saying that the game was coming to Wii, Playstation, DS or some other console. Those topics always got shut down quickly as there were, and are, no plans or intentions to put WolfQuest on anything other than Windows/Mac/Tablet. I missed the Midnight...

Stranger wolves when they insist on having a fight to the death. I've never died due to other animals.

Re: WolfQuest on Steam Greenlight!

I am unsure if the game is ready for the cynical and sometimes rather entitled audience of Steam. But I will consider voting. It would be a good source for more purchases, and so more funding. If it does get through, I hope that the user reviewers don't tear it apart for... whatever perceived flaws ...

Would it be possible to change my username so that the capital S is switched to a lowercase? If so -

If not, that's fine. It's more of a vanity thing than anything else. Thanks for offering the option!

Re: WQ 2.7 costs $10. Is it worth it?

If someone enjoyed WolfQuest 2.5, then I feel that this is worth it. The new map is neat and fun to explore, though I do wish that it served more purpose in single player other than filler. I find intentionally making a mission that can't be progressed further a little frustrating and sloppy. The ad...

Re: If You Were In Charge Of Wolfquest...

I would've dropped multiplayer altogether and put all funds and focus on making single player the awesome experience it could have been.
