Re: Slight lagging for WQ 3?
I'm pretty sure the new pathfinding system has introduced more lag and needs some optimization. Since the patch, I experience FPS drops every time herds are in the area or when I'm hunting, while I had barely any lag (save for loading map chunks) while hunting or having elk near by with the old, les...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates
Spectator cam/mode With all these new AI behaviors added I thought it was a shame we can't get up-close to the animals and see what they're doing, and taking screenshots of fighting bull elk is really hard when controlling a wolf. So I thought... what about a spectator camera/mode? Similar to the p...

Re: Bison Carcass?
Oh that's really cool! I haven't seen one either. I think I now have a new goal haha. I was pretty sure nothing in regards to them had been added but since there's actually a carcass... maybe we'll see live ones soon-ish? Would be cool for MP games.

Re: Bison Carcass?
Bison aren't in the game (yet). They're on the devs' wishlist but they haven't been added, neither have their carcasses. (If their carcasses were present then you should be able to hunt them as well.) Do you still have the sceenshot in question? Maybe it was from a different game or it was a differe...

Re: Some Things That Are Not Coming to WolfQuest 3
Oh no... The elk have figured out how to domesticate wolves. What will they discover next? Farming?
Also, great choice of music! It went really well with the glitches haha. I'm almost disappointed those trees won't be in WQ3. Almost

Re: Music and Herd Names and Trees, Oh My!
It's great you guys brought Ben back in! SC has always had my favourite tracks and it's nice to hear some more similar ones in the new game. The new trees are looking great as well. Too bad the species is not doing so well in the park though. Fortunately, the trees in-game won't be bothered by fungu...

@Frodo1, Alright, that's good to hear!

Watching the video again got me wondering, is it possible to add some fog when it's snowing to simulate more distant snow fall? I think that'll be a nice little touch :3

Re: Looking for Trouble
Gosh, that spike's health went down soooo slowly  Actually, that's a quirk that needs refining. Once an elk's health gets real low, you have to bite it on the neck to kill it....but that darn spike kept standing up and running again, so it was very hard to get to the neck. We'll be tweaking th...

Re: You're Getting Veeery Sleeeepy...
I'm not sure how I feel about this tbh. It seems rather annoying to be forced to sleep every so often.. I'm really pleased hunger is added though. I definitely think that's a nice addition to the game. So today’s video looks at how these meters all work together to create (we think!) a better, more...

Re: Playing Dead
"Respawn some distance away" Very useful for PVP! ...and maybe hunting (without pups), however kind of bad when you do have pups. Possible deaths with pups: 1) You die while trying to hunt an elk and are teleported far away and end up not having enough time to kill an elk and feed your pups so your...

Re: Playing Dead
Personally, I don't like the percentage idea at all. It's fine for people that have no exp or very little to begin with (which means new wolves don't have any sort of penalty and you don't have to fear death with a brand new wolf), but for people like me, who have gathered an insane amount of exp, 2...

Re: Emote Yourself
I'm a little confused. What was the reason to describe the snarl animation as 'aggressive'? From what I have learned/been taught it looks more defensive/fearful to me, because the face is tense, the eyes are big and the lips are pulled way back to show all teeth. Like the wolf is saying "this makes ...
