Re: WolfQuest 2.7.2 released!

The new update is great! I love the new additions. Dave, you should make the cougar's belly wiggle from side to side like a housecat's does when trotting, that'd be quite amusing. All jokes aside, though, wonderful job. Can't wait to see what else is in store. :frog:

Re: Have you ever touched a wild animal?

I poked a legless lizard today! He was in the driveway, and I wasn't sure if he was being reaaaally still or if he was dead. So I poked him. He was super cool!! Wiggled away, it wasn't a sophisticated slither like snakes have going on. Looked a lot like a snake, but different scales, a different he...

Spreading accurate information and showing people my snakes, so less nonvenomous harmless snakes are killed just for being snakes or for being mistaken as a venomous species. (:

Re: So many Carcasses!

The amount of carcasses is definitely somewhat ridiculous at times, but it depends, sometimes it is worse and sometimes it is better. If you were an actual wolf you would definitely have to take much more time scavenging, if that were your eating style. Thus, having it be more realistic would mean ...

Re: “ Do Animals Have Feelings? ”

Our colt, Teddy, suffered an injury to his eye. It had to be stitched up and now he is living in one of the stalls for now so we can monitor it and keep him out of trouble and whatnot. It definitely seems like my gelding, Caspian, is concerned about him. We actually had to make Caspian a hay net an...

Re: Should We Bring Back Extinct Animals? De-Extinction Deba

Nah, it's not so much about the particular plants and animals they eat(In the case of animals that have become extinct recently). It's about the microbiome in their guts, the bacteria that thrive in places such as the intestines and help the animal digest food well. If those microorganisms are gone...

Re: The importance of Hunting

Much of my family hunts, specifically deer, and it always goes towards feeding their families. As well, both family and friends have noted that a very important part of good hunting is making sure they make a good shot so the animal is not in pain for too long. They've noted that it really feels aw...

Re: horsehair and hooves on insturments

I mean, people can even buy horse tail extensions of actual horse hair to be used on their horses. It's just cut off high up and then put together to be used for other purposes, and the only danger to it is that it can be harder to get flies off with a shorter tail. But fly spray works wonders. As ...
