Re: How did you find out about WolfQuest?

Oh gosh way back in 2011 I was at my friend's house and she told me about this AMAZING game that she wanted to show me. We played it for the rest of the day until I had to go home, and then I went home and immediately downloaded it for myself. xP The rest is history.

Re: Favorite Wolf Webcomic

Admittedly I haven't read it in years, but Wolf's Rain: Next Generation was a favorite of mine back in the day. I took a peak at it now for the first time in ages and it's amazing to see how far her art has come since the start of the comic! I remember it being really engaging and a fun read. It's b...

Oh, that's super interesting. It makes sense, though, when I think about it. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Cosmetic Testing on Animals

Oh, hey! Thanks for the in-depth response! I actually finally found a good cruelty-free/non-tested (I do use them interchangeably ;D) shampoo finally - a brand called Petal Fresh - but to my surprise Mane N Tail is available over here too and that looks pretty good. It's definitely pricier over her...

Re: Cosmetic Testing on Animals

I have yet to find a satisfactory cruelty-free shampoo. If any of you happen to have any recommendations (most preferably reasonably priced ones), I'm all ears. I use Mane N Tail shampoo/conditioner, which doesn't test on animals according to its site FAQ ? Considering that the brand is originally ...

Re: Ōkami

Thanks Anduril, that's good to know. In case it's not obvious, I have very little gaming experience; I think I've only ever completed, like, 5 video games over the course of my life? Even as a kid I was notoriously bad at figuring out how to finish really easy games like Pajama Sam or Freddy Fish. x...

Re: Ōkami

Alright, I've got a question about the PC version/computer games in general. So, I love playing it, and it works fine... for the most part. After a few minutes my laptop heats up until it's burning hot, and my game starts lagging (not like it can't load, but like everything's moving in slow motion -...

Re: What will happen to the forums when WQ3 is released?

I think if anything it'll make the forums more active, because it'll likely draw more attention to the game and bring more people to sign up and/or return to the forums to discuss all of the new updates together. However I voted for "about the same", since in my experience many of the people who are...

Re: Ōkami

I don't have an XBox controller unfortunately, nor do I know of anyone who has one. My brother always seems to have miscellaneous video game parts lying around though so maybe once I get home I'll ask if he has one. I do think playing with the resolution settings might help, I didn't bother testing ...

Re: Okami, for the PS2, and Wii

One of my very dear friends bought me Okami for the PC! I started playing it last night. The controls are a little janky (F1 is the skip button which feels SO unintuitive to me; I had to look it up to figure it out) and I'm struggling a bit with the fight scenes because it's clearly designed so that...

Re: Myth debunked that wolves changed Yellowstone's rivers

Thanks for sharing, Isela! I actually didn't know this, so this was an informative read! I remember reading a NatGeo article several years back about how wolves changed the face of Yellowstone, and I never found any reason to be critical of them so I never doubted the story (I'm more critical of Nat...

Re: Sharing WQ with Friends & Family: Your Experiences

My family knows about WQ, though I don't think they know I still go on forum. I sort of had to tell them when I found it, because I was only 10 or so when I found the game and I would have needed help installing the game and setting it up. Also, at that age my parents like to keep tabs with what I w...

Re: WQ 10th Anniversity: Your Memories

WolfQuest was my first internet community, and my first internet home. I made friends here that have changed my lives for the better and some of them I still keep in touch with to this day! WQ introduced me to RPing, which I still do to this day and find extremely therapeutic and introspective; I pr...

Re: Forum Suggestions V2

I didn't think putting every past username would be all that practical, but I thought I'd put it out there just for kicks. I don't know if we need to get rid of that field altogether as I do think it still has some merit, but changing it from "previously" to "originally" would reduce confusion on my...
