WolfQuest updates take up so much storage
I'm not sure if this is a lot for a PC, but I've noticed WQ updates require a huge amount of storage space for my PC! I have 223 GB of storage altogether, about 6GB available and the wolfquest update requires 14 additonal GB of storage! I don't know, but 20GB for an update alone seems like a huge am...

Re: Saga Switchbacks
In my opinion, I believe the "white coats" (genetically black,) should be left alone, maybe with an option to have a "dynamic" version of that coat that changes with age? (This would honestly make players more willing to use the more realistic coats, while also preserving the old coats as-is. Player...

Videos show Yellowstone wolves bringing ‘toys’ to dens for their pups
I think this is not only an interesting read, but an adorable one! https://www.atlantanewsfirst.com/2023/08/24/videos-show-yellowstone-wolves-bringing-toys-dens-their-pups/ https://i.ibb.co/5Kcmvxf/8-CDDA575-B8-F4-42-C8-AC4-A-41374-EE2-E59-B.jpg Wolves in Yellowstone National Park were caught on cam...

Re: Ideas for Future Updates
I would like to add on to what others are saying about implementing diseases for adult wolves. I believe adding a sickness mechanic would make the game more interesting with non-lethal illnesses such as mange or canine hepatitis and maybe even canine distemper. The chance is random but rare, and the...

Re: Wolvden
Wolvden is a great game for wolf-lovers. For some reason I lost interest in it. Maybe it was because, like others have said, it was very time consuming. Altho I will say I enjoyed it more than Lioden. In Lioden, it was so fast paced with the changing economy and events. Haven’t visited my Lioden acc...

I always thought the coyote model looked off. Glad to see it's getting an update.

Re: How long do you wait on loading screens?
Usually it's maybe forty seconds to a minute and a half for me. Sometimes, the game will stay stuck going thru loading screen pictures indefinitely, it doesn't freeze, just acts like it's about to load in but never does (which is annoying because I can't exit out since my PC doesn't think it crashed),

Re: Pet Peeve: Roleplay servers are EVERYWHERE
Alright so... I wanted to play multiplayer but there were only roleplay servers. The only non-RP server my PC crashed and I couldn't join the server again. I waited 40 minutes for a non-RP server to pop up, and absolutely nothing. So I decided to join a roleplay server, minding my own business doing...

Re: Do genders really matter?
I can see it mattering for family roleplays and just generally knowing how to refer to the player's wolf (and besides, male wolves will be bigger so with some observation you should get a good idea). Some people want to keep their roleplays relatively realistic and diversify their characters, for ex...

Re: WQAE Genetics/Litter Sizes
I have a kk Youthful Prowess wolf named Efra who has a four-star Kk mate, and they had three litters together, all of which had seven pups. However, my wolf Quota, who ALSO is a kk Youthful Prowess (well, at least I think he has Youthful Prowess) wolf with a Kk mate, and his only litter had six pup...

I have been wondering this myself for story purposes, but could never find a concrete answer. I think it depends, really. But I'm not sure either.

Re: Canine Writing subforum?
Maintaining semi-realistic standards for creative forums necessitated leaving animals like dogs and wolfdogs out and the application of strict rules. At the forum's current activity level, there is no incentive to change this. I mean, it's not like they're hellhounds or magical purple animals. They...

I love this idea. But what will happen to already grown-up pups? Will they not gain any experience?

Canine Writing subforum?
Ok, so I know we have a wolf writings subforum, and we also had an old, locked "wild canids" subforum. But why do we not have anything for dogs or wolfdogs? What is the point in only allowing wild canids, specifically wolves? What if we want to write about wolves and other canids (e.g., foxes) withi...
