Re: Hellroaring Along!

Hellroaring Mountain looks like it's going to be a great map. I'm so excited to explore all the intricate details of this new map, encounter one of the Wolverines, cross that big bridge, and raise some pups in this big new map! Every time WolfQuest AE has gotten a new map, it has made me super excit...

Re: What features are you most excited for?

At this point I am most looking forward to the Hellroaring Mountain map. It will be so fun to explore that new map and raise pups there.

Re: The Wolverines of Hellroaring Mountain

Wow! I have to say, I was not expecting to see this species in the game, but that makes this a pleasant surprise! The inclusion of Wolverines as a new, rare small predator will definitely be a neat aspect of the new Hellroaring Mountain map, and will set it apart from all the other Yellowstone maps....

Re: Saga: Hanging with the Yearlings

This looks really great so far! It will definitely be fun to go hunting with the yearlings and see how they learn how to hunt, and being able to have a yearling or subordinate watch the pups will also be really useful. I'm definitely interested to see more information about the yearlings in the futu...

Re: Dispersing Differences

Oh my goodness, an update on Wildest Dreams? I had honestly forgotten about that, but I'm glad to hear that it's going to get a part 2. I'm also very excited about the differences of dispersal gameplay strategies for males and females, that should be a pretty cool feature that will add even more rep...

I love these sorts of devblogs. The unique geology of every single location in the game is a subtle aspect that makes every map different and interesting. I'm excited to explore the Hellroaring Mountain map in the game.

Re: Ideas for Future Updates

I will always +1 Support exploration/sandbox/free-roam suggestions for WQ:AE. I know it's been said that it's not a simple task (unless I'm mistaken or misremembering?) but this is something I'm always hoping will happen someday. ♥ I get that pack wolves are supposed to be part of the challenge of ...

Re: Ideas for Future Updates

im here suggesting an 'explore' mode for both single-player and multiplayer, where rival/npc packs aren't a problem. you can't find a mate or raise pups, but its more for roleplaying on multiplayer and not being so confined to a small* area, or for the achievements that require you to collect or fi...

Re: Hellroaring Mountain (WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone)

Oh my goodness, I already know I'm going to love this new map. I never had a chance to visit the Hellroaring Creek area when I went to Yellowstone a few years ago, so this location is something that is completely new and foreign to me. It does seem to have a pretty good mix of WolfQuest's standard e...

Re: Have you ever seen a wolf?

When I went to Yellowstone in Summer of 2020, I saw a small group of wolves in Hayden Valley. They were pretty far away, but my uncle (who was with me) had a pair of binoculars that he let me use to get a closer view. These wolves were also about 50 yards from a small group of Bison. I don't think t...

Re: The Slough Creek server

Yesterday, i came across a lovely SC server where the goal was to not have a den. Initially, I thought this was a bad idea, but we settled on a patch of grass on the rocky surface of Little Butte. It made a great spot because it was difficult for the predators to acess, and during the entire one ho...

Re: v1.1.0 Released!

I just got to check out the new update for the first time a few days ago and I absolutely love it! It's so great to finally get Pronghorn in the game, they're so fun to chase after (even though you're rarely able to catch them, but that's part of what makes them so fun to hunt) and they're such neat...

Re: Forum Game - Outlandish Ways To Die Wolfquest edition

29. While you were sleeping, a group of stranger wolves intentionally chased an elk herd toward you. You wake up to the thundering sound of the stampede approaching, and get trampled underfoot by more than a dozen elk. Talk about a rude awakening!

Re: What wildlife have you seen recently?

So far this spring, I've seen White-tailed Deer, Cottontail Rabbits, Groundhogs, Canada Geese, Squirrels, a Wild Turkey, Mourning Doves, Vultures, and Red Tailed Hawks. I haven't seen many predators, although I've found Fox and Raccoon tracks in the woods behind my house. Having so many wildlife enc...
