Re: most annoying thing your mate on wq has done
I've just started the trial with a red Junction Butte male. We stayed in the JB territory after the courting and slept there too. When we woke up, a white JB female was there, protecting the territory. She was on her own, so I was like OK, we can deal with that. But this male was just literally sta...

Re: Playing "Realistic"
Hmm, the trotting idea sounds pretty neat. If I wasn't panicking trying to feed and claim territory at the same time, I'd probably give that a go but at the moment I need all the speed I can get :D . I've been thinking of doing a realism challenge where I keep nametags off and use the map as little ...

What's your Wolfquest 3 Mate Like?
What mate does your current wolf have? Mine is a Beartooth female (I think 22f but I can't remember) and she's not very bold, so she always ends up waiting until I've already almost killed the animal before she helps me! She also has a tendency to just stand in the way of predators, not fighting the...

Re: Fight or Flight
I really like the new fight or flight system! It was as if all the animals were waiting for you to demonstrate something, and then they all jumped out and got in the way. It was actually neat, though, to see how everything was coming together and interacting with each other. In wolfquest 2.7, the an...

Re: Eye of the Beholder
I love that you can finally look around and zoom in/out as needed - that always bugged me before when I wanted to see how the wolf might look from certain angles or with certain coats. I’m curious about what the last tab shows on the right...

Re: Let It Snow!
So exciting! I’ve always had my own wonders about the snow in the game, and I love the idea of changing seasons! In this way, we’ll have to be more careful about stocking up prey by the dens before having pups (this will make pup-raising trickier).

Re: Flock Around the Clock
One idea would be fish (even though they aren't a primary source of prey for wolves, a grizzly bear could be hunting salmon leaping out of the river). I don't really know much else that would be good to add, but maybe signs of the certain prey animals? You said that they might leave behind trails, s...

Tasty elk! Tastes like chicken, or should I say turkey? Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I’m thankful for all the hard work you put into this great game!

Re: Mission Simpossible
Here are some of my ideas: 1. Finding and returning a lost pup If the pack affinity ever drops below, say, 50 percent, a pup could mysteriously go missing (perhaps a cutscene leading to the event so it doesn't just suddenly disappear). The pup's nametag could be removed and you'd have to use the new...

Re: The Fate of the Mate
I voted for these options depending on difficulty :D. The turnout seems pretty clear, but who knows. I'm super excited to have varying mates now, that way they can have more of a personality now! I'm also looking forward to knowing what these traits will mean for the game. It sounds like I can't tr...

Re: Why is Wolfquest special to you?
Ooh, this is a great topic. Why didn't I find this earlier? Back when I was pre-school age, I didn't really think much of wolves. Unfortunately, my only idea of them at the time was that they were man-eating beasts and were super dangerous (neither are true). Then I was playing some other game not t...

Re: Ride of the Wapiti
Woah, it’s gorgeous! Love the music selection too! Other people stated things about the wolf’s movement, but it looks fine to me. In a couple of documentaries they ran the same way; relaxed, so that they could save stamina for later.
