any idea on what the graphics requirements might be? because i am getting a new laptop soon and i want to make sure it will be able to run the best graphics quality with ease
thanks

The most accurate prediction of what the graphics requirements will come when the game is actually completed, most likely. Laptops are also tricky, because most run on integrated graphics and do not have a dedicated graphics card. If you're looking at buying a new laptop, I suggest you look at something with dedicated graphics (NVIDIA), to be safe. Also, check out this thread for ideas on what laptops best run the current version of WolfQuest- viewtopic.php?f=3&t=77961

Thanks so much, this really helped and early today we were actually looking at an acer aspire laptop, very similar to the one suggested on that link! Looking forward to more teaser videos for the upcoming update,
thanks again

Hi there! I'm no stranger to WolfQuest but I did just recently join the forums today! I'm very excited for the new updates coming to this wonderful game I grew up with and I'm happy to get to know the community on here. I think I'll probably checking in regularly for now to keep up on future updates and new features coming to WolfQuest! I just can't believe it's been TEN years already!? Keep up the good work devs! :wolf:

The anniversary update is free, but the new Tower Fall episode will not be. Probably around $6-$8 if I remember right.

@Angel10177: No, Episode 3: Tower Fall is set to be paid DLC-
loboLoco wrote:Will I have to pay to get it?

Yes. Tower Fall will be quite a large expansion of the game, and so we need to charge for it. Currently we imagine the cost will be perhaps $6-$8 though the final cost will be based on the scope and depth of the episode.

Why can't it be free?

We're putting a great deal of work into Tower Fall: creating an entirely new codebase for more exciting and robust gameplay, creating new animals, new missions, and new multiplayer modes. The money to pay the artists, designers, and software developers has to come from somewhere. We've been gratified by players' willingness to pay for WQ 2.7 and believe that the new episode will be well worth the cost.

The anniversary edition will be released as a free update for all existing 2.7 players (and future customers). :)

On top of the stuff for Tower Fall and the new multiplayer stuff, will you guys also be including anything for Lost River? It is a nice place, but rather...basic. You can hunt and challenge wolves and find a mate, but other than that nothing much else. Will Lost River be connected to Slough Creek? In which the two wolves decide to return to the safety of Yellowstone in order to rear their pups.

But can we get a little bit of clues to what happened at Lost River? I think many people are still curious.

As far as I know Lost River won't be updated in the new episode, it will still be included however. Dave said that perhaps in the future some changes will be made to LR, but it's not priority right now.

The team said a while back that there isn't really a definitive answer as to what happened in Lost River, it's meant to be vague and mysterious and allow players to come up with their own theories as to what happened.
