In the game... How do you get a mate?

I've been wondering for a while... in single player on Wolf Quest you're supposed to get a mate but how? There are three wolves already in the game but you can only run or chase them away... I'm really confused!

To get a mate, you have to visit each of the three territorys in Amethyst Mountain and socialize with at least one wolf from each territory. When that's done, wolves in those territories will start to appear as either "Dispersal Male" or "Dispersal Female". This means that those certain wolves are available for you to choose as your mate. Pick a wolf the opposite gender of your own wolf, and click these socializing options in order:

- Hello There
- I Like You
- Let's Play
- Let's Start A Pack
- Let's Start A Pack

Once all of that is done, the wolf becomes your mate, and you have the option of naming him/her. With that, your have completed the first episode. You can then save your game, and go on to the second episode: Slough Creek by pressing "Esc" (Escape) on your keyboard, clicking "New Game" when, selecting "Single Player" when you get to the Splash Screen (or as some call it, the Main Menu), clicking "Slough Creek" and loading the file you saved.
