Re: If two females in a pack become pregnant by the same mal

From the sounds of it, studies on this matter conflict with each other and with other facts, as do a lot of the answers generally given for why this happens in ZT2. I do believe that in the real world this would be rather unlikely as wolves generally avoid fighting at all costs, because even a smal...

Re: Current Multiplayer Problems

Still can't login? says username or pw is wrong, but its working here.. Which version of the game are you trying to log into? Forum accounts and 2.7 game accounts are separate, so you cannot use the same login info for both because they are different accounts (unlike 2.5 where they were linked toge...

Re: You Had Me at Playbow

The new wolf models are beautiful, as are the animations even though you say they still need refinement! Amazing to see how everything is coming together, thanks for sharing.

Re: How large are Chernobyl Wolves?

I would like to say that non-moderators are allowed to answer questions here, and many of them have more knowledge than the moderators as they are not all wolf experts. It is a forum moderation position and not a wolf educator position. Dani also used to be a moderator and has answered many detaile...

Re: Unknown canine shot in Montana, confuses researchers

Coydog seems likely. I don't really understand why the possibilities of dire wolves or cryptids were even presented in the article, though. Doesn't seem like it would even be worth the time typing them up for this article if they wanted people to take the article seriously.

Re: Forum Suggestions V2

After 8 years, it it perhaps time to rename the What are you known for on WolfQuest thread to something less misleading? As it is now, the title pretty much just tells you who reads and who doesn't, since many users only look at the title and misinterpret it as what are you known for rather than wh...

Re: Family tree

There are the weight stats on the pack stats window, but any feature to show more detailed stats as far as I'm aware has not been announced.

Re: Family tree

That can be entered in as data in a spreadsheet, and though I haven't looked through family tree sites in depth, some will likely allow for extra info or notes to be entered that can be used for things like stats.

Re: Family tree

I don't believe there is any planned family tree feature in the game, but it should be relatively simple to set up yourself. If you have a gmail account, you can use Google Drive to set up a simple spreadsheet you can use to keep track of generations, or try a google search for family tree creators...

Re: The Corvidae

Bringing this back because I was gonna start my own thread for corvids inspired by alethe's raptor thread, but hey it already exists so that's cool. Corvids are easily my favorite birds, they're so amazingly intelligent and beautiful and interesting to observe. Even the super loud blue jays that li...

Re: General Bird of Prey Discussion

What a good big bird. You don't grasp the size of the birds until you really see them in action with a big prey. It's amazing to see, as is the bird in action. Also, the noises it makes are super cute.

Re: Controversial Threads

^ in case of misunderstandings I was referring to the post above mine and not understanding where the problem suggested there was rather than the thread itself, just didn't quote it for length reasons. I understand the intent and point the thread is trying to make, heh.

Re: WolfQuest Fonts

Also, if you're asking what fonts you can use on the forums, technically any font should work if you know what it's called. However, since a font needs to be either supported in the website itself or installed on the viewer's device, I would recommend that you limit yourself to "web-safe" fonts, ak...

Re: General Bird of Prey Discussion

I'm a corvid guy but I've always been fascinated by raptors. Beautiful birds, and I love how diverse they are in how they hunt and how specialized they are for their methods of hunting. Very fond of eagles, vultures, and owls, but I think the secretary bird is my favorite. Such unique birds, tbh I ...
